I think its true for a lot of us. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is why good leaders are few. There were more when some actually had to be held accountable though. Tis better to live under a benevolent tyrant than an incompetent, greedy, corrupt democracy / republic. But you seldom ever find the former in existence.

I hate to harp so much on it or repeat it so much, but yes Tim is a naïve child. He thinks by sitting down and talking with someone he can get to know the real person. And that a sociopath still wont lie directly to his face on a show with a smile on - for the most part. He figured this out with the twitter lawyer at least but man does he really fall for this shit far too often. All he'd have to do is look at how these people treat others around them and not just himself and he'd see its clear as day they're pieces of shit.

There are countless reasons why companies would turn far-leftist, why people like Dylan Mulvaney would come about, and why they would be pushed by companies. For him, it all seems to start and end at algorithms.

Tim's obsession with the algorithm might be a result of his personal experience with manipulating it. I remember during Adam's long Airing of Grievances stream, he praised Tim's work ethic, making specific references to how hard Tim worked to figure out the algorithm and exploit it. I can imagine after years of doing this, and then getting feedback from idiots telling him that Timcast has changed their lives, he's arrived at the conclusion that he'd still be a nobody with 1K viewers per stream, and that no one's life would have been affected, if it weren't for him figuring out the algorithm.

Which, the more the you think about it, would say a lot about what Tim believes about his own content, and about his audience. He knows, deep down, the content he puts out is nothing special, and yet people still show up for it and give him money. He realizes the algorithm is what deserves credit for his success, because he knows no one would tune in if he wasn't popping up on their front page. He thinks people will just mindlessly believe whatever garbage YouTube suggests for them; whether its his own content, or The Young Turks, or Alex Jones, it doesn't matter at all if the information is correct, or presented persuasively, the mere act of viewing it will make a person believe it.

Hence he's now begun arguing that support for Antifa, support for troons, and support for Ukraine can all be attributed to the almighty algorithm controlling people by suggesting videos to them.

I disagree with this, I don't think power corrupts, I think it just reveals who the person really is and most people aren't necessarily evil but they're so convinced that their ideas are great and right that they don't account for the reality that their ideas are probably shit and will never work.

A good way to dig into it, is to ask someone what they think should be illegal, and then to ask how they'd enforce it. Usually you'll get something like "oh, it should just be a fine." because that seems like a light punishment that's mostly harmless, but then ask what if the fine isn't a deterrent to that behavior it's just a minor tax and won't stop people from doing it, well then they'll increase the fine. Alright, what happens when someone refuses to pay the fine? Fine them again? Well that doesn't work as they just won't pay that either. Going down this chain you eventually get to people being put into prison for incredibly stupid shit like smoking [pot].

It's very hard to people to take that step back and think of their ideas in this kind of way, and not just in terms of governing but most things. It's also why almost everything seems obvious in hindsight.

You might be onto something here though, as Tim was easily duped by another Jack that did 69 for 69 and then a Blue Haired thot who swore she was human trafficked because someone used photos of her to catfish people on Twitter. There was also Rocco, his stripper sister, his wigger brother, and so on.

The most obvious example of this is feminists, who probably started out as actual oppressed women who were trying their hardest to just get some representation, better working conditions, and an end to domestic violence. But as soon as they got a taste of power they warped into resentful, man-hating cunts who want to use their status to punish the descendants of those who oppressed them.

Anyway, site was down for me yesterday so I have not had a chance to say that Tim is a faggot for a solid few days. Let the record show that I truly believe Tim is a faggot.

Tim quickly found that people were calling him out for trying to fuck over Dylan Mulvaney and not anyone else, and Tim had to come up with a reason why he doesn't want to rail against all troons, just this specific one. He decided to claim it was because Dylan Mulvaney is "targeting" kids. He has so far offered no evidence for this until, I think last night, when he said that most people who use Tik Tok are under 18 years old. That doesn't mean Dylan or Annheiser Busch is targeting kids. He also claims that Bud Light has stated they are aiming for a younger audience and this is somehow creepy. Younger than what, though? If Bud Light sees their numbers and has determined most people that drink it are in their 40s now, then it's totally reasonable for them to say "hey, we need to get people who are 23 to start drinking our product, then we have lifetime consumers".

Fence-sitting positions are weak positions. If Tim is not willing to go against troons in general he is toothless against Mulvaney. He said today "multiple trans people online have said Dylan Mulvaney isn't trans". No sources given. Didn't Tim rail against the mainstream media for using "anonymous sources" before? Who is claiming this, Tim? Why are they credible, just because they are troons? Are they MTFs? Or are you getting advice from FTMs, assuming all troons are the same?

Guaranteed if we look at sheer numbers there will be more people harassing everyone for misgendering Dylan than there will be people saying he's not trans. Because there are people saying that about mass shooters and mother rapists. If most people are willing to believe Christian Weston Chandler is trans just because he says he is, then most people are going to trust Mulvaney too.

Why couldn't they have been both at the same time? The only thing power would have changed was their ability to act upon the latter. That would be the same shit we see with the left all the time, and I'm sure there are people on the left who believe in free speech, but now that their party is in power, the elements that don't are able to exercise their ability to stifle others. Those people were probably always part of the left, and ten or twenty years ago they were probably promoting free speech because it benefited them, and they didn't become corrupt, they just were always being opportunistic.

Hell, how many dictatorships, end with the people in charge offing the people who put them into power? Whether it's Trotsky or the Night of Long Knives, these things don't happen because power corrupted the dictator, they happen because the revolutionaries are no longer useful.

This was definitely one of the worst episodes I've listened to in a while.

The best parts were definitely Ian's attempts to be honestly introspective and ask hard questions. And of course whenever I glanced at the stream chat it was just full of people saying Ian should be fired immediately. Whoever was dumb enough to keep being a fan of Tim after both Jack Murphy and Eliza Bleu really are beyond help.

At the beginning of that clip, he also claims that things only become part of the "national conversation" when there are protestors for the news to cover. This, despite it being well known that the mainstream media hates covering the March for Life, and downplays the number of people who show up for it? Not just that, he really wants to make this claim so soon after the pandemic, when people protested the lockdowns (not just in America, but around the world) and the media also tried to downplay those? Tim really can't be bothered to think things through logically, he just pretends to be outraged, and goddamn it gets tiring having to listen to this shit without anyone there to push back on him.

Michael Knowles was tonight's guest. When I saw him on the thumbnail I was honestly hoping that the ex-singer guy would be on the show too; he LARPs as a "based rightwing" type, but I've noticed that whenever the trans topic comes up he spergs pretty hard and comes to their defense (there was a moment from a while ago where someone suggested that Blair White was part of the problem by normalizing this shit, and he got pretty angry). Instead we got Ian and Sleepless, and the longer I listened, the more convinced I became that Tim absolutely wanted Ian to be there, and for ex-singer to be missing.

Everyone knows that Ian is only on the show because he makes Tim seem smart by comparison, and that he relishes in getting chances to talk down to him. Ian has some kind of bizarre PTSD from Christianity, and has a long history of sperging out whenever a Christian tries to explain theology to him; Tim knew that Knowles would make Ian freak out. At multiple points throughout the show, Ian and Knowles would try to debate a specific topic, and despite describing himself as non-religious, Tim would always rush in and interrupt Knowles and explain religion to Ian by comparing it to video games.

Recently, ex-singer has had a tendency to push back on Ian a lot, and if he'd been there tonight it would have given Tim less opportunity to reign Ian in. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe ex-singer hates Daily Wire people and asked to not be there, but his absence seemed like a calculated decision by Tim the longer I thought about it.

Also, a much more minor point, but I remember a while back Tim described something as "demonic," then quickly reassured his audience that he doesn't believe demons are real. But tonight, with a Christian guest who repeatedly brought up demons and how they mess with humans, Tim is totally on board with it, and talked about people taking DMT and seeing supernatural beings like demons.

Tim is rightly called a fence sitter, but damn, he will just shamelessly lean forward or backward and change his position on that fence depending on who his guest is.

I checked his Twitter when reading your post out of curiosity and it's rather normal conservative-light stuff, very pro gun, criticizes Jazz Jennings being trooned, and similar stuff. He did retweet DW's statement on the Walsh hack so I'm guessing it's something else, unless he's really sensitive about how DW handles the troon topic.

I don't get Ian's take on Christianity or Trump. I'm not religious but I very easily get where people like Michael Knowles are coming from, even for the bit I saw today where it's easy to say "The belief of the virgin birth does not challenge reality except for one specific instance that is defined as miracle and specifically noted to be beyond that of reality, but otherwise affirms reality in all other instances. Troons and abortion challenge reality on a fundamental basis that harms society and makes demands of you to accept what's factually impossible and changes from person to person to the point that there's no possibility of communicating with one another."

My favorite part of tonight's episode was Ryan and Danny just laughing it up and having a good time joking around and stopping Tim from talking. Tim really is the worst part of his own show. The guests were hilarious and entertaining, while Tim just wanted to be boring and serious for most of it. But at least they talked about something other than the fucking Bud Light tranny shit.
