Well tonight's episode was a political candidate named JR Majewski. Tim's co-hosts were Hannah and Ian, making his triumphant return.

Tim watched the South Park Panderverse special, and Tim being Tim didn't care about the main plot (I suspect because he loves the slop Disney puts out), but instead got obsessed with the B-plot and the only message he took from it was "college bad." Tim then went on and on with his usual bullshit about how college is terrible and how everyone should do a trade or whatever. Conveniently Tim forgot the ending of the episode, when Randy solves the overpaid handyman problem by flooding South Park with other handymen from other universes. What do you think happens Tim, if everyone goes into the trades? Will flooding the labor market produce higher wages, Tim? Have you taken a basic economics course, Tim? Of course not, because you're afraid of college.

Another downright idiotic thing he said, with no self-awareness whatsoever, went something like "People will tell me, 'Tim I went to college and I'm better off for it' and I'm like 'no you're not, you don't know what you would have been like if you didn't go to college.'" Tim, apparently having no sense of irony, doesn't see that the opposite of it is just as true in that case; Tim doesn't know what he would have been like if he had gone to college. Hannah backed him up by bringing up both of her useless degrees. It's obvious none of them went to college for anything important.

The best part of the show was Ian, easily. He spent like 15 minutes at one point just asking the guest about nuclear energy from a scientific/technical perspective (Majewski is an advocate for nuclear energy). The best part was that Tim mostly shut the fuck up and let Ian and the guest talk, and it was a really interesting exchange. I really like Ian's natural curiosity. Tim should let Ian do a show or something where he just interviews scientific experts in their fields, it was way more interesting than anything Tim said all night.
I've honestly missed Ian. He didn't really do it tonight, but Ian's usually the only one with the balls to openly disagree with Tim, even if he says wacky things when he does it.

Apparently Hannah wants to date a guy who's into cars so he can fix her car and do stuff around the house for her.

Tonight's episode had a guest named Josh Smith, another Libertarian political candidate. Co-hosts were Hannah and the almighty Ian.
It was another "Tim asserts bullshit with absolute certainty and talks over everyone else" episode. Right off the bat, Tim was spouting a bunch of total bullshit about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, thinking it would be easy for the government to control (he's right about some of the details, but he doesn't understand Bitcoin nearly as well as he thinks he does).
I noticed tonight that Tim has a habit of changing the argument as soon as someone gets him on something. With the Bitcoin discussion, as soon as Smith pointed out the technology could circumvent government restriction, Tim goes "oh, but technology doesn't matter, it's about culture." Similarly, whenever someone starts to get at Tim's excessive defense of Israel, then he goes "But I don't support either of them, America shouldn't support other countries" even though he's clearly taken a side in Israel vs Palestine. He just doesn't want to admit it.
There was another "college bad" segment as well, the usual crap.
Ian went into a roid rage rant at one point, that was fun.
Also Hannah looked pretty hot in her leather jacket.
