He is the embodiment of IFLS and reddit sciencism.

Whenever he talks about anything with physics and technology its like nails on a chalkboard because he just says dumb shit that he read on a headline on reddit or IFLS on facebook and has no fucking clue what he's talking about.

"Free the code" mother fucker he's so fucking dumb when he says this shit. You could 100% fully open source facebook, x/twitter, and so on and with out a user base its meaningless.

The core functionality of these social media sites isn't anything beyond basic data structures code wise. That's why there's already feature equivalent alternatives all over the place but the reason why they aren't able to compete is because that market is already hit critical mass in another product.

But he refuses to listen even when people bring it up because he's so fucking obstinate with his stupid goofy hippie attitude about spirituality and "vibrations".

He always says he was one of the people who "built" minds.com but all that fucker did was content moderation. The mother fucker doesn't know anything about programming and has admitted it on shows way way back.

He's a fucking drama kid who went to college, took on a bunch of student debt (that apparently the tax payers paid off for him because lol biden) who probably got high repeatedly with the right people, ended up doing moderation work for minds, then met Tim there and now is having an easy ride in life. And honestly, good for him on that one.

But he obliviously dumb when it comes to the things he talks about and even when they have guest on that have to do with technology he trys to talk to them as if he knows more then them. Because he "wills" it through the universes vibrations man because he got super super high a bunch of times and browsed reddit where the intellectually disabled all swirl their nonsense into a giant pool of dumb fuck ideas then start trooning out.

As much as Tim is so full of him self, he's spot on when he referred to one of Ian's takes as "a mid wit take", and should have went in further than just critizing the take. All the times where he does the "we can't know things lets argue about semantics" stuff its just him falling back to pseudo intellectualism because he thinks its actually smart when really its just an exercising in time wasting and he's honestly to fucking dumb to realize it and again GENUINELY believes he's making real and intelligent points.

A prime example is how in the last episode he once again goes through his same exact criticism of polls. Honestly they should have a rule on the show that when they are discussing polls, Ian isn't allowed to speak because if the sample size isn't 100% of the population (which means its not even a poll any more its a fucking census), then the poll is inaccurate. This completely negates the entire point of polling and because he's a dumb fucking theater degree holder and probably didn't have to take any math beyond maybe college algebra, he can't understand mathematic projections and other statistics principals.
 
And now Ian is defending tik tok.

I don't understand why people including congress are so stupid when it comes to reason to ban tiktok.

Its simple, China doesn't allow our technology companies to operate in their country, therefore they shouldn't be allowed to operate in ours.

I haven't seen any one refute that argument.

Beyond that, Ian doesn't know anything about the word "algorithm" and miss uses it constantly. He's already being insanely dumb again.

Once you figure out Tim's gift Ian is basically the only thing worth tuning in for.

It really shows how oblivious Tim is that he can be on the ground at Occupy Wall Street and not be able to see that worke shit was a conscious tactic to drive a wedge between left and right wing economic populists. You could literally see it happen in real time if you were even vaguely paying attention.

I thought Tim was going to abandon that notion because it is honestly stupid as fuck. Out-of-towners are not going to pay that money for a club they rarely to never visit (why would anyone drive from their posh suburbs of the DC Metro to go to Martinsburg?) and few if any of the locals are likely to be wealthy enough to throw away $100 a month to sit above a coffee shop, eating shitty snacks and drinking seltzer.

Hearing him talk about anything medical/scientific drives me up the wall. Telling the viewer asking for prayers for his wife dealing with pre-eclampsia that she just needs to focus on breathing, because that brings down blood pressure, had my blood pressure rising to a boiling point. Dude is a fuckign moron as usual, Poor Things was pretty good in a dark funny sort of way. It was a gender swapped Frankenstein at its core, and i laughed my ass off at it. A lot of sex scenes but who cares, Emma was naked, so score on that front too. So many of these fucking nerdlinger losers get so wrapped up in their culture war bullshit that they can't just watch a movie for an hour and a half and find something enjoyable about it.
