Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Tim just said he's married to Allison and has a kid on the way.
I can't help, but notice that Tim's announcement he has a kid on the way corresponded with his thread's 666th page. Are we sure this isn't the Beast of the Beanie?

Hannah isn't on the show, Ghost Girl is, as are Ian and Phil. If it turns out he's keeping Ian and losing Hannah that's a fucking L.
It would surprise me little if Hannah got canned because the wife didn't want her around.

As for Ian, he does his job: show up and act like a low information voter while randomly latching on to the "new thing" be it graphene, or whatever piques his interest, while not truly understanding what it is.

Just as he promised that would be his last episode, so too, does Tim not keep his word about stopping his posts on "X". He shared a video of him skating with his "$500" Trump sneakers:

Tim returns, despite his woe-is-me episode supposedly being the last, cursing me to continue clipping away.
The guest was Arynne Wexler, whom runs an Instagram account called "Non-Lib Take". She seems to be the catty & self-centred sort, as I shall show in the clips & timestamps.
Ian, Mary, & Phil were the co-hosts.

Though it looks like Hannah may have been bumped back to an exclusively writing position, as she made a post asking if anyone needed a co-host. This is in line with Tim culling staffers whom could challenge him for control of the show, or legitimately push back upon him. See the Adam debacle for an example of it. Mary seems to know how Tim operates, Ian is too barmy to take the reins, & Phil has his band as his main focus. Hannah was a writer for the Timcast news site, & could theoretically manage the IRL show, well, & has shown she is capable during previous episodes she hosted.

*Arynne brings up a previous conflict she had with Tim over how Star Trek was not manly & semi-jokingly accused him of siccing his fans upon her, Tim brings up the positives of the The Next Generation episodes, such as "Measure of a Man". Ian segues this into asking Arynne, whom worked in AI before becoming an influencer, whether AI would be given the same rights as a human. This leads into a discussion of the current state of AI, Arynne's insider knowledge of how these systems are used, etc. Ian jokes how he is all about derailing the show, but it was nice to see discussions which were not just masticating a news story: 40:00-47:08

Clip Collection:
-Tim is back, & announces he is continuing the show. But, also, that he is finally marrying his long-time girlfriend Allison, whom is pregnant. Tim argues that the reason he deferred marriage & family was due to how hard he was working on the show & "security implications" from the SWAT-tings scaring him away from it. Allison & he chose to continue the show, despite this, to "make it work, to the best of our abilities:

-Tim continues, noting how "frustrating" it is that people were saying he remained unmarried & childless, for all this time. The beanie boy argues that the reason he was is because "I'm sacrificing to try & make this [the show & other projects] work". Tim says they shall be restructuring, with Fridays becoming "crew shows" without a guest. Tim was convinced to continue the show due to the supporters of his work "that allowed me to live this life". Talk of outside management being brought in to prune & wrangle the Branch Timidians empire is brought up to keep it running "indefinitely":

-Tim complained how hard it is to start a family, due to working upon the show, & who can blame him? How could Tim even contemplate buying an engagement ring for Allison, when he has to purchase silver-plated coins he spent $30 on, or skating with sneakers that cost 1/8 of an average West Virginian's monthly earnings. That just had to be prioritised over putting a ring on his girlfriend:

-Arynne notes Donald Trump has had an "unrelatable life", yet is still relatable to the common man. Mary notes that no other politician could do the things Trump does, because the average person wants "a king" to rule them, while Trump is unique in being able to be relatable, while also retaining that kingly image. Arynne says she disagrees, but seemingly re-states how Trump is unique in being relatable yet being a businessman/politician. The same argument Mary just made:

-Mary demonstrates why Tim shall probably not be including her on the new show's panel, after she discusses what made men & women go non-binary:

-Ian discusses the problems with seed oils on the body, but Arynne pipes in to critique him recommending flaxseed oil as one possible alternative, due to the effect it can have on hormones. Though this appears to only be an issue with unprocessed flaxseeds, not its oil:

-Ian notes how the internet has provided people with the ability to vet information, in a far quicker way, which has given positive results. Arynne disagrees, saying it is based upon observing people he interacts with, not the general populace which are far less eager to challenge their preconceptions, or admit fault:

-Tim continues to bet on "normal people" being the ones making wagers on Polymarket, which now has $2 billion worth of wagers in the market for U.S. president, as if everyone is as deep into gambling as he is. Ian asks an important question, which is what happens if there is no clear winner of the election under the site's rubric. Ian hopes people shall be refunded, but Tim & Arynne believe they will keep some portion for wagers made:

-Ian admits that he has been gazing towards the sun, as part of his homeopathic treatments. Naturally, the panel reacts to this news with strong recommendations to ask your doctor on what to do. Arynne bluntly calls Ian's sun-gazing "wack", while Mary jokes that Ian is starting to convince her:

-Tim, only now, learns that Polymarket was supposed to wind down accepting bets from people in the United States. Arynne argues this shows how much the world wants Trump to win, & cites messages she gets from overseas to bolster her position. Which is funny, because earlier in the episode, she criticised Ian for using the people engaging with him as a measure for how the general population is thinking:

-Arynne pulls a Kamala-esque "I'm speaking" to cut off Ian's barmy blather, which rubbed me the wrong way. Her demeanour reminded me of someone, & only after this moment did it hit me. It was Brooke Houts, the bird who slapped & spit on her dog because it would not do what she wanted in a video. I judge people based upon their treatment of Ian, whom is akin to a dog in his guilelessness. If a panelist abuses Ian, without him being in on the joke, it just rubs me the wrong way:

-Arynne brags that former American footballer, Antonio Brown, took her MAGA hat & wore it in the booth where Donald Trump was seated, during a Pittsburg Steelers game. I had no idea who this was, & had to look him up, since Arynne made insinuations about him been involved in criminal acts. After researching, I am certainly glad that blacks, like Antonio, are attaching themselves to Trump. Truly the best representatives of their community:

-A super-chatter makes a pun, which Phil does not get straight away, involving the custom fill being all that remains when you take a MyPillow's cover off. Mary takes advantage of this, joking about a Phil body pillow. Ian chimes in that it was "hot-ish":

-I am glad Tim did give some friendly ribbing to Ian, over the usual scolding, by passing along a super-chat about Ian adding graphene to his coffee:

-Arynne continues to bully Ian, saying people should boo him after his barmy blatherings, earlier:

-Tim proposes Phil taking up shows if Tim is unavailable, so Hannah appears to have been sidelined from the show:

-A super-chatter asks if Allison's wedding registry includes "baby hair products" & if a beanie shall be on when Tim goes to the altar. Tim says "I don't believe" that Allison has approved him wearing his hat to the wedding, but missed out on the hair products being in case his child inherits his bald pate. Naturally, Tim brings up everyone calling his soon-to-be born daughter a "beanie baby", while Ian tells him not to give her one as it may constrict her skull growth:

-Tim says Allison agrees with him that poker is good for children to learn numbers:

-A super-chatter confirms Ian is correct that a governor-general is the direct representative of the King within Commonwealth nations, & may exercise discretionary powers. Naturally, Arynne is upset Ian had something of a right point:

-Tim shows off how damaged his Trump sneakers became after "5 kick-flips" & some other tricks done. Tim plans to have other "legends of skateboarding" sign the scuffed shoe to "make it even better". Arynne comments upon how poor MAGA hats were in quality, before, but are better, now. Ian says his new slogan is "Make America Great, Ian Crossland" which abbreviates to MAG,IC:

If you really work 16 hours a day, you wouldn't have time to skate, you bold faggot.
There’s 24 hours in the day my dude.

And he’s been trying to make skate content a thing. All that to say if telling the truth he still has 8 hours or could consider it part of his content.

More than enough time.

It’s how you know he’s bad at time mangement. More than enough time to do what he wants.

His issue is he might not have the energy, which considering he is either in or nearing his 40s makes sense.

To say nothing of Little Miss Beanie when she comes. Tim is going to die.

Why are you stanning so hard for tim? You were never in here until recently and all you've been doing is making excuses for him.

I’ve been in here regularly for years my guy. Just not in the last few months because Tim is on the whole uneventful.

I was just saying 16 hours work days leaves enough time to skate. But it also leaves enough time to do everything else Tim wants to do to relax so he is clearly terrible at time mangement even if taken at his word.

And you shouldn’t cause he’s clearly lying.

What about all the time he spends at the poker tables? To be working 16 hours a day he sure spends a lot of time at the casino.
Tim probably considers watching things "working"
"TV show? Well that's culture, I need to be on top of culture to combat..." well, whatever it is he thinks he's combatting.
Skateboarding 2 hours a day to fight the evil oppressors.

He'll rationalize anything but actual work as being work.

I will admit this timing about the show possibly being the last synced up with another Tenet-affiliated show breaking up. On 20 October, Rebecca, the co-host of Matt Christiansen's podcast suddenly announced her departure from the show to focus upon her own channel. The "X" postwas done without any coordination with Matt, whom wanted to have a final episode to close out their partnership. Rebecca claims the severance was due to Matt's unwillingness to touch controversial topics & near total creative control of the show. Rebecca allegedly refused to do a final episode, so Matt aired his side of things, solo.
The Matt Christiansen arc is one of the most interesting to me. He used to make some of the most excellent videos. Then he entered a period of... stagnation? Nothing changed and the quality was still great but it felt very monotonous in a way. Then years later he joined up with Tenet, which was about two years after I stopped following him regularly.

When I saw the Tenet stuff and read it, I knew he had blown it. Though for what it is worth he was always one of those people that had an unfairly low subscriber count.

Also his podcast partner left? Weren't they married? Or is that another person?

And as for Tim Pool... I stopped listening to him in 2015 I think. The IRL stuff was totally unappealing.

I miss that podcast.

So sad Tim can't watch the sunsets on a weekday.
"Go off to sleep in the sunshine
I don't want to see the day when it's dying"
-Edit: listening to Kino Casino and I appreciate PPP cribbing my posts, but would appreciate some recognition. This is the third time I've seen my exact verbiage repeated by PPP. Two priors were on Nick Rekieta.

Interesting. Makes it even more clear why he’s burned out then. I’m glad to see Hannah is missing. Ian is at least sincere and offers a unique perspective. But Hannah and Phil are both annoying and just don’t know anything about what they’re talking about. But Phil is Tim’s hero so he isn’t goin anywhere.
Are you fucking high? She cites specific sources when talking about claims while Ian literally makes shit up. She does interrupt and talk over, but I feel she has a good average when it comes to relevance, a low bar that a lot of the other co-hosts can't reach.

The truly funny part is that he kicked Cassandra who, despite being a shitty journalist, very effectively managed booking guests. Who is going to do that now? Is Phil going to get more burnout musicians? (I love John's music from the CroMags, but the dude is space cadet) Is Ian "The Graphene Machine" Crossland gonna book guests? Alison can't manage the workload as it is, how could she pick up the slack?
In fairness, there is all the other stuff that he wants to do that no one really cares for. It’s not just the morning show and IRL..

This also does not factor in reshoots/retakes or stuff going wrong.

And this is all just Tim. I can absolutely believes he works himself to death.

Adam and us are on the same osge hear, he needs to hire people that aren’t his friends.

Or he can take a page from Rackets’ book and do coke.
1. Yeah, it's called delegating. You think he's micro-managing the contractors and the lawyers? I imagine he's a "needy" client that is a massive PITA. Which would explain why he had contractors previously bail on him.
2. Tim's vids are a single take with no cuts. Staff to manage the studios fixes technical issues.
3. He works a lot, but he does it to himself. His burdens are because he doesn't feel he can delegate, which is a sign of poor leadership.
4. don't care about getting along with colleagues. I just want them to get the job done.
5. Tim should go get blotto out in the woods with some dudes that aren't useless retards. He might gain some much-needed perspective.

I disagree that his problems are easily solved with money. Just spending money doesn't actually get you a well qualified individual. Not only do you have to be able to pick decent candidates to invest time into, you have to be able to maintain a culture where that employee actually ends up working.

Tim seems fundamentally incapable of being a manager.
Tim is a major youtuber. He could ask others like Dave Rubin, Steven Crowder, Tim Dillon, or whoever if they could recommend someone and they'd probably help drop some names of people or their staff could do so for him. So picking people wouldn't be 'that' hard.

The issue I think Tim has is that he doesn't want to spend that much money on or give that much authority to another individual. I get the sense that he was running stuff like he had a mini-cult going on rather than a business, so likely enjoyed the sycophantic nature of his employees, which is what would make him suck ass at being a manager of any sort.

He got fucked by his ego being too big from people around him puffing him up too much.

No way he doesn’t. No sane lawyer especially working for someone that does what Tim does would look at stuff and think Harris actually defamed him in any way that matters. And would therefore point out it is a waste of time.
From food buckets to gold and silver.
I can't wait till its tiny chink made chainsaws like Rekieta.
At least you can use the chainsaws…
