Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Tim has now hit peak fear-mongering, claiming that Facebook is going to privatize ALL of commerce despite knowing that PayPal already exists.
He's truly whacked. This actually devastates me that he'd even stoop this low.

Paranoia, Paranoia, everybody's coming to get me...

I at times sort of wish that Tim Pool would take out the two minutes at the beginning he takes to transition from place to place as that is pretty pointless. Aside from declining quality, does Tim Pool really qualify as a lolcow?

This is the exact same argument that played out across the opening pages of the Sargon thread. Even if you don't see it immediately, trust your fellow kiwis to spot something you may have missed

I wish he'd take the time to learn anything at all about audio so his own videos didn't have that tinny echo-y sound. Even if he wasn't such an enlightened left leaning centrist, he'd be nearly unwatchable just for that. Listen to the difference between him on Rogan or Rubin and what he does himself

The hyper-bassy sounds from those podcast shows where they have a condenser mic up each other's nose actually annoy the hell out of me and I hate having to listen to it when Joe Rogan has a guest I actually want to hear from. Tim's audio is a much appreciated break from that shit.

I always wondered how much grease has accumulated under that beanie. I believe he's produced enough to supply McDonalds for a year.

I like how they blurred the "white power" symbol out.

I've always wondered how many of those beanies he bought. That beanie isn't going to be sold forever, so I assume he just bought a whole case of them. It reminds me of one of the Ernest movies where he opened his closet and it had nothing but the same shirt/vest/hat combo.

And he gets triggered about beanie jokes and can't even laugh it off. He takes himself way too seriously and seems to lack a sense of humor. I don't think I've ever seen this dude laugh, ever. His resting personality seems to be perpetually annoyed. He's a lol volcano waiting to explode.

I'm just amazed how he's still on the liberalist train and always plays off the "white nibbas" stuff as "allegedly, I've never watched the stream in question" while claiming to be a reporter who does investigative journalism

On one hand, he's carved out a nice niche (the "tortured fence-sitter who will surely fall to the right anyday now!") for himself and is making bank off of suckers in the process. I can't necessarily fault that shit even if I think he's a bit of a fart-huffer in disguise.

Aaaand on the other hand, he still reports in the same shitty scaremongering manner I despise from journalism at large. Oh, right - "reports" by reading (typically verbatim) an online news article or two and making damn sure he:
  1. Reminds you he's center-left.
  2. Pays painfully special lip service to whatever side of the argument is inherently stupid and/or straight up wrong.
  3. Ultimately espouses typical "no nonsense" views on 4 out of 5 videos he makes as though it's something revolutionary.
    • That extra oddball video gives his (probably) more right leaning audience just enough inner conflict to keep
commenting in the hopes of saving this poor soul from his lefty skateboarder punk self.

I skimmed his bullshit for a time since it helped cut down on time wasted sifting through news in general. I can see where that value might have been, but I don't think it's really there anymore. Or maybe it didn't change and my tolerance for it just ran out..who knows. Too much sensationalist garbage either way.

Watching Tim decay has really laid bare just how poisonous the news cycles have been as of late.

EDIT - Does anyone else think he's banking views on when he'll pop that 'red pill'? The mounting outrage, the cycle of ever greater travesties and all the while his viewer comments are like "Just admit it Tim, you're voting Trump 2020"
I get the feeling that he's sensationalizing or dramatizing the journey over to the right wing that much of his current fanbase has made by themselves.
This way his viewers get the ghostly impression of satisfaction from having vicariously converted a lefty.

His content has become extremely repetitive lately, to the point where a drinking game could be made

Drink for:
  • I'm actually center left
  • I'm from the streets of Chicago
  • The left/right is winning/losing the culture war
  • I read news from both the left and the right
  • This is not news, this is opinion
  • Buzzfeed is a good news outlet
  • The left has gone crazy
  • Sargon dindu nuffin
  • We are moving towards a hot civil war

We would also accept "because we live in clown world/Hell" and "I apologize for swearing"

It's not like he's a smart man, if he was he'd find a real job instead of doing videos on Youtube which at anytime can become demonetized or removed.

Tim can't debate. Keeps stuttering.

I don't understand why he pretended to not know why Sargon was banned on twitter on Joe Rogan. IF he truly didn't know, which I doubt, it would have taken 5 mins of googling. Edit: You know what, maybe he really didn't know because he looked like an absolute idiot when they told him why.

He made the mistake of thinking any "debate" with Fudge Pakman would be undertaken in good faith. He's got retarded blindspots for Carl and Pakman.

I don't begrudge the hustle. I just wish he didn't devolve into stealing Mundane Matt and Sargon's acts. You know, reading other people's articles and disagreeing with them

Are you that surprised? This is the guy that constantly fear mongers that the United States is on the verge of Civil War since some blue haired SJWs and cringe-pilled MRAs cry foul towards one another. I remember during that interview with Joe Rogan, Tim tried to backpedal his statements by changing his stance on what Civil War means.
Also if you want to know Tim's tell when he doesn't know how to refute something, he'll always say things like "the thing is...". It's quite hilarious when you notice it.
It's ok to be bald.
We've tried to tell that to Tim. He is adamant in denial that he wears a beanie because he wants to.

Well he does seem devoid of any creativity so why not follow those that are also devoid of creativity.
