Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

these days you need a tremendous amount of connections in order to really get anywhere in life.
I know right? I hate how back in school I was told the exact opposite, that with the internet and shit people who are actually good at something would finally get to shine since there would be no middlemen anymore

Now its all about clout and who you know, talent is near pointless
I don't much care for Griftrnews in general
That place would be a lot better if they covered leftwing grifters too, but lets be honest those outnumber rightwing grifters by a big margin and that blog would get in deep shit for exposing them

Also this part
Due to this developing hostility and Pool’s radical commitment to transparency, many Occupy protestors turned on Pool but his audience was largely blissfully unaware except when attacking other live steamers for disagreeing with Pool.
They are basically saying baldy was a bad guy for not editing out the idiots vandalizing cop cars, same idiots that together with SJWs got occupy branded as a bunch of wacky hippies and anarkiddies

Also the beanie joke at the beginning kinda sets the tone for the rest of the article, its less about uncovering this baldy guy's scams and more about "lets laugh at the rightoid for being a rightoid"

I mean this quote
Pool wasn’t afraid of letting the police arrest people due to the evidence he broadcast.
What was this skater manlet supposed to do? tackle a cop? get real

They keep going into "muh power dynamics" to excuse their own shitty behavior, they are more salty about this guy exposing them than any fake news he might be doing

Something tells me if pool has stayed on the left and joined the "fuck the cheeto" crowd these people would be sucking his dick and making up excuses for his grifting

Look everyone, I am a serious journalist who is fighting the establishment! I'm competing with CNN, so share my videos on social media while I publicly swear at some intern who has no connection to the actual maintenance of my product instead of sending the right person a private email.

This video reminded me that there's a particular talking point of Tim's that drives me absolutely crazy.

Tim talks about Antifa rioting in Portland and then he says "well, at what point, what can you do? If these people continuously vote for this, it's not my place to tell them that they should have something different."

I get that he's being sarcastic but no, Tim. For fuck's sake. How would you respond if I told you "Well, Alabama voted to suppress gay marriage in their state. That's what the people want so that's how it's going to be, and it's not your business, right?"

Obviously a libertarian might argue that it is, but Tim is not a libertarian, he's a leftist. He's going to say "no, people have rights to get married and federal law overrides state law and blah blah blah."

Yeah, Tim. People also have a right to own property. I guess it's not explicitly stated anywhere, but arson is very much illegal. Even in Portland. So no, just because the people voted for a DA (or someone who appointed the DA, I don't know Portland's specifics) who lets rioters go without charge doesn't mean that the people and businesses in Portland should continue to deal with rampant vandalism. If the DA isn't willing to do his fucking job, then he should be removed from office and replaced.

Fucking 2021. Prosecutors who don't want to prosecute.

Tim keeps saying Biden is putting a pause on specific executive orders as if Biden is stating an opinion when Biden just did a blanket freeze :story:
If Biden didn't unfreeze these orders or replace them, then I could see Tim's argument but he's really jumping the gun.

Nah, he's no where near a leftists (no his political compass doesn't count)
He's a Liberal
Liberalism and leftism are totally two different things
Democratic party version of liberalism is kinda combined both leftism and liberalism into one thing
Tim would be closer to classical liberalism (aka libertarianism) since he always hates the democrats

Have you heard Tim talk about rich people?

He hides his power level quite well normally, but when he gets on the subject of rich people he is very extreme. He wants to raise taxes on the rich as an equalizer, as a way to balance things out. Not to get more money to spend on social programs, just to decrease the amount of wealth the rich have.

He is also the type to default assume that rich people have gotten their wealth through ill means even though he is quick to defend the idea of

He is an Occupy Wall Street thug through and through. He just smartly avoids the topic as much as he can these days.

Look, here's a perfect example.

"Look, I'm not in favor of anyone suffering, BUT...its not the little guy, okay?"

"If I could spend $300 to put up a billboard telling the establishment I dont like them, I'd probably do it." (Its not "telling them you dont like them", its bleeding one hedge firm another 290 dollars)

Not that I'm on Melvin's side. Far from it. But I want Melvin to suffer the consequences of the risks they took on by selling over 100% of a company's stock. They shouldn't be allowed to do that. I don't want Melvin to lose a bunch of money because I hate rich people as a "class".

No, he told David Pakman that he would demand businesses bake the cake.

He is a Leftist, full stop.

EDIT: Concentrated Tim Poolisms in 3 minutes.
