Times when you have felt genuinely sorry for Chris

Probably has been mentioned already, but when he did his poetry reading and recorded it for his high school English class and said "my loneliness is off the charts" that hit me harder than I thought it would, and it still does.

I have been watching the Geno Samuel documentary on youtube and do feel kind of bad for him with the whole Kacey thing. Despite the fact he brought a lot on himself, the whole thing just seemed kinda cruel with the lengths that were went to just troll him IRL

The documentary has only the most dramatic cuts, she comes off as a nagging cunt. There's at least 4-5 hours where "Kacy" tries to explain to Chris the importance of diet and daily exercise, how to dress and act for an interview and even fill out an application, how he should clean his room and even put effort in to make his parents proud. One of the most interesting moments is Kacy trying to explain the difference between love and lust to Chris and its obvious he never "loved" anyone. I've suspected Liquid and Kacy had trolls remorse very early on. The amount of time Kacy sits through Chris describing shit he watched on TV, like episodes of family guy just so she can get his attention to better himself is pretty amazing; a few moments she even gives him really good advise like not to trust trolls and how to keep his passwords difficult to obtain. Then about 15-20 hours? of direct contact with Chris she realizes it's all pointless when she spent time researching employment and tugboat economics for Chris when he goes on one interview then quits looking for a job and refuses to stop eating fast food after swearing to her he's stopped and he lies to her about spending all day staring at TV screen. At that point Kacy and probably liquid consider Chris a total waste of life who refuses to be helped and they just go balls out for maximum entertainment value. listen to the hours of "Kacy" calls, its all there he doesn't want to live a normal life he wants to jack off and collect welfare. listen to the calls, judge for yourself. The final call is half trolling half "wake-up call" where she drills it into him he's setting himself up for a lonely life and an early grave and he fully acknowledges "yeah, um, yeah, you're probably right" a decade later he's made no effort into anything.

TL;DR Kacy made legitimate efforts to help chris get a job and not die of a heart attack before 50 and he just kept saying "I'll get around to it" to the point where they gave up and just used him for entertainment value not unlike how he tried to trick her into sleeping with him.

Fully agree, I don't understand the spite towards kacey. She provided some much needed tough love for Chris to be inspired to do things. But it turns out it was never enough. He doesn't need tough love, he needs a caretaker and psychiatrist.
