Times when you have felt genuinely sorry for Chris

Really, just anytime he is misunderstanding a situation or joke, and especially when his parents are idiots to the whole ordeal. They really believed Liquid Chris was actually trying to steal their son's identity.
Well yeah, I can’t really blame Borb for being completely out of the loop with what their son was really up to on the internet. Their only windows to the world was probably Fox News. Their generation demonized the internet as this collective hivemind of evil hackers that will steal all of your personal info the moment you open a web browser. Plus both of them only had Chris’s word to go by, and they were pretty much too old/feeble to really bother looking into whatever nemesis was making him shit his pants that week.

Honestly stopped following him due to lack of interest in recent times, but of course seeing his life turning out later just makes me hard to not feel sorry for him, especially compared with classic Chris. Reading the CWCki right now for the first time in a while just already made it worse too seeing how he's into debt and how the dimensional merge (which I didn't even know much about it, some dumb troll convinced Chris about it and Chris still believes it? idk) broke him.

There's really no way back for him and all we can do now is seeing Chris going through decades and decades of craziness, rinse and repeat, until he dies.

One of the few times I've felt sorry for Chris is the family he was born with. Barbs side has one sister who can tolerate her; the rest of her siblings hate her. There's at least one cousin who can tolerate Chris (I don't know if they grew up together). All of Bob's siblings are most likely dead, and the only family he has in VA are his adult children, one of them who associated with Chris on one occasion; the other is somewhere else. Cole, wants nothing to do with both of them. His only family is Barb, and given their history it's like Dr. Frankenstein and her monster. Chris hates being alone, but can't curb his behavior and Barb doesn't care and leaches off her son, while he leaches of the government. I guess the old saying is true: "misery loves company."

Fox News is actually fair and balanced, not radical enough for a casual racist like Bob. I'm sure that Bob's only window to the world was Barb's continuous nagging and Chris' delusions pf grandeur and Sonichus.

His parents completely failed him. I know he grew up in a time where resources for the mentally-handicapped were limited, but to counter this his parents let Chris be raised by television, video games and the Internet. It's really sad.

It's sadder when you add to that whenever Borb put Chris in a social environment, they always blamed society, never Chris (Cub Scouts, School, Snyder). I was surprised when he was suspended from PVCC that Borb didn't sue the college for harassment (when in actuality, their son had been soliciting for sex/being a racist.)

I mean if I were approaching my late 80s with the onset of congestive heart failure and my only legacy being Chris and a well-upholstered ball & chain of a wife, then I'd have to commend myself for managing to make it this far. Again, and I know this sounds like me being self-important, but I've spoken to Bob, and steadily managed to actually give two fucks about what he was talking about because of all the yarns and reminiscence he's spewed about growing up without a pot to piss in and working his ass off for a high-handed construction company. Chris was an absolute white elephant of a son, and without getting too a-loggy, he really didn't deserve the kind of father Bob was. I genuinely consider him to be another victim of Barb's manipulation due to the state he was in around the time he met her; he was a college-educated engineer with a military background, a divorcee, had several cardiovascular complications, and two estranged children while she was an over-the-hill floozie who had one too many martinis at The Wild Rover Pub.

Fuck.

I do not believe that any news media these days are fair and balanced. Some make kind of an effort, and others just don't at all.
Bob seemed to be a cosmopolitan dude in some ways and a total redneck in others. I don't care how good Barb may once have been in the sack.... Bob did himself no favors getting married to her. There is a particular kind of person that is absolute poison as a spouse.... selfish, lazy, manipulative.... and Chris is his mother's son.

Just the entirety of this saga has made me feel sorry for him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that he is completely a victim of trolls or something - I just mean that he seems utterly incapable of bettering himself. Seeing him react to ProjectSNT's artwork on the more recent end of things, for instance, showed me just how deep his delusions go... And I feel awful for him.

when morons got him kicked out of the gym. that was one of the only times chris actually tried to improve himself.
The IG told him he needed to lose weight for the impending merge or something. He was actually legitimately determined to do so until we’ens decided to sabotage that. But at least it shows that it’s possible to convince Chris to make healthier lifestyle choices.

One of the only positive influences the IG may have had. Too bad it was only the bad ideas that stuck afterwards.

Mmm I thought of another time. When Chris found out that his treasured high school friendships were all more or less a lie, I truly feel sorry for him reading his reaction and his desperation. Obviously I do not at all blame those girls for keeping their distance from him now, but still - since he looked to his high school as the best time of his life and found out it was all a lie.. What a crushing blow.
