That's just it. The design and construction of the sub seems as if almost deliberately suicidal in nature.

I've heard everything down the grapevine so far, from the clearly nutty "Stockton Rush was a high-ranking cultist and intentionally killed himself and his passengers as part of an elaborate human sacrifice ritual", all the way to the slightly more plausible "There wasn't even anyone in the submarine, and they faked their own deaths and committed life insurance fraud."

Biological sex is incredibly statistically relevant in pretty much everything that belongs to the human experience and should be considered as a metric for most policies and decisions.

William Denney Pate was the lead architect on the collapsed FIU pedestrian bridge project. The thing had numerous catastrophic cracks that had actually been identified beforehand, and they still tried to move forward with the construction rather than doing what they should have done, which was close the road underneath and immediately start tearing the fucking thing down. As a predictable result of this buffoonery, they turned six people into salsa.

Men are entirely capable of fucking shit up, just like Stockton Rush did. The only reason he picked women to check off on his insane bullshit is they're agreeable enough to, well, agree with it.

One other thing I should mention about the FIU bridge insanity. It was not a cable-stayed bridge, but a truss bridge with a single row of trusses in the center and no redundancy. The tower with the cables seen in the concept renders was just for pretty. It didn't do anything.

The FIU bridge was a truss bridge, its designers, the FIGG Bridge Group, confirmed after the collapse. Many have assumed it was a suspension bridge because renderings of the finished structure show a mast with pipes or cables connecting from its tip to the bridge in a sail-like pattern. Observers, including some engineers, have posited that had the mast been in place, the bridge might not have collapsed.

But in fact the mast would have provided no vertical support. FIGG advertised that as a “cable-stayed” bridge, and plans and other materials on the FIU website say the mast was there mostly to dampen vibration, provide some “stiffness” and create dramatic aesthetics.

After studying the engineering drawings on the website with colleagues, Verrastro confirmed the mast had no role in holding up the bridge.

“They definitely didn’t need it,” he said. “It’s there mostly for looks.”

Holy shit I had the same Logitech controller, those rods are glued. The controller uses Double As and ate through them like a motherfucker. That controller was from Early-ish 2010. I emptied my junk drawer, vibration motors died along with analogue sticks. I'll never forget how shit it was.

Unless those policies directly relate to genitals (and even then, the government really shouldn't be making policies about people's genitals beyond banning people from sticking them in or showing them to nonconsenting people), biological sex is also irrelevant in any of that shit.

Sex is not even remotely just genitalia. Sex is chromosomes, genetics, hormones, ability to gestate or impregnate, height, bone density, muscle mass, lactation capabilities and EVERY SINGLE THING in your body, including your much beloved brain, is touched by the magic of sex.
We should have a LOT of policies based on this reality, and on statistics. To not do that means that you deny catering to the specific needs of males and females. I like welfare states, so I want those needs catered to properly by the state.

Really boggles the mind when you hear people consider a bunch of worthless shitskins drowning a great tragedy. Like what great benefit were they going to bring to Europe if they made it? Does everyone just pretend like they have any possibility of contributing to society in any way? Is there a SINGLE reason we would be better off with them here? It's like the old senile woman letting every stray cat in the city come in her house, eating and shitting and pissing until she dies and the house has to be condemned and demolished.
