Titanic tourist submersible goes missing with search under way

You crazy? who exactly do you think profits from children being ignorant, impoverished starving retards and women being trafficked and abused? he'd be putting half a mil in things that go against his interests.
This is sadly true.

I don't think his son would've been involved in that shit though, so I'm treating the son as innocent until proven otherwise (also the only person on board that had any sense from the sounds of it since he was afraid).

I'm sorry but everything about this dude reeks of fraud. Who was he really?
Probably a cocaine addict that was always high and thought he was on top of the world. I honestly suspect cocaine is a big part of the lives of people like this and is part of why they do what they do.

Plus if you're interested in Titanic tourism, you can visit the drydock and other historic sites without actually going down to the wreck/grave of the victims. Guess he couldn't be a normie and stick to the historical sites on land (that aren't mass graves)Graves.

It's also sad to think how much the half a mil the Pakistani CEO spent could've been used to help less fortunate Pakistanis. Imagine if that money had been used to help build a school or children's shelter, or provide medicine and safe water, or fight against the oppression of girls and women or child sex trafficking.
Imagine all the pride flags that could have been taken down with his wealth.

Not niggers, we've got another group in charge of those.

BULLSHIT that's fake.

MCM was a Cuban-American, family-owned construction company & was run by the Munilla brothers.

"was"?

It's very much alive, and whoever the suits are, there are employees under them, there's no reason women engineers and male suits should be mutually exclusive, as it was clearly the case with OceanGate.

Now if the MCM suits decided that they were going to trailblaze bridge building by making it out of jello and fired anyone who said "that won't work", I've yet to see it.

As for leadership, well.

For all I know MCM never built a bridge, or they did and the one that collapsed wasn't an MCM bridge, or the one that collapsed was built by aryan hyperborean males... you get it, there's a thousand ways the image could be fake, yet "look at these males standing around the logo" doesn't really tell me anything.

The image could be 100% fake and you haven't really proven anything by posting a bunch of dudes standing around the logo.
You have no proof that these women worked for MCM and were responsible for building the bridge.

You have no proof that these women worked for MCM and were responsible for building the bridge.
So the entirety of your deboonk consisted of "MCM's cupule at the time was ran by males"? you certainly were very assertive in it being fake, I even granted it could be, as the image is an ancient thing from the days of the autism holy war, shame you cannot provide more information to verify it other than "owners were male", certainly would have been more interesting a read than bolded words.

Edit : As for proof they worked and possibly built the bridge...

Let's try a source that even calls and deboonks the bridge situation at large. : https://www.factcheck.org/2018/03/female-led-company-didnt-build-collapsed-bridge/

Silver confirmed that photos published in some of the stories were of actual MCM employees but included captions that “are not accurate.” The photos were taken from the company’s social media pages, which it has since suspended.
It even goes as far as to cite someone who was misquoted in another article/macro as fake.

Flores, who is a university alumna, spoke of sharing her line of work with her 12-year-old daughter as they watched the installation of the 950-ton pedestrian bridge, which was intended to connect the university’s campus and the city of Sweetwater.

“It’s very important for me as a woman and an engineer to be able to promote that to my daughter because I think women have a different perspective,” Flores said. “We’re able to put in an artistic touch and we’re able to build too.”

The Minuteman Militia story mocked Flores’ quote, saying it shows she wants only to make bridges “look pretty. Nothing else matters.”
Yet your bar was "do the women in the image work for MCM and involved in the bridge" which the article says yes to one and "maybe" to another.

The article even goes as far as to say that the cause of the collapse is unknown, it paints this as "the women working in it weren't responsible", which while not an entirely incorrect assumption to make, the fact it was unknown (at least at the time of this being published, I've no clue if things have since been clarified) still leaves the door open for that possibility being true.

The stories — without evidence — leave the false impression that female employees were responsible for the bridge collapse, even though the National Transportation Safety Board has not yet determined an official cause.
Unfortunately the NTSB link gives a page not found message, so that's a bit of dead end on the "why it collapse" thing.

Essentially my point is, you're so bad at this I had to bloody debunk myself over an image that is very clearly an ancient shitpost (and worse still, both of your points of contention were either irrelevant or factually fucking true as the pictures are MCM workers), I award you zero points, go be a killjoy somewhere else.

These MIR subs look quite kwaii.

And much bigger than the Titan.

Their internal volume is a lot smaller than the OceanGate mickey mouse sub. A smaller, spherical pressure vessel is a lot stronger than a tubular one. So thats what ALL other deep diving submersibles go with.

I watched Das Boot for the first time, as well as the documentary James Cameron made about going to the Mariana Trench.

Deep-sea Challenger is an amazing machine. I found a good Twitter thread comparing it to the groversub I'll have to link if I find it again. There's a reason Deep-sea Challenger can only fit one passenger despite being roughly the same size as groversub (need all that space for important equipment, especially life-support shit).
It was like the Trieste Bathyscape:

That little round bit at the bottom? That's where those two guys were sitting. The rest of it was filled with water for ballast and gasoline for buoyancy. The walls were five inches thick or 12.7 cm for the rest of you folk. And yes, it was overdesigned to make sure that the sphere could withstand that pressure.

This puny carbon fiber sub? Who in their right mind would have gone down in there or even trusted it with their lives. One small breach, one tiny crack and suddenly the hull integrity would be compromised. And look what happened?

I don't hate the ocean. I just fear it since it was not made for humans to mess around in too much. Most of the Earth is covered in salty horror water.
You need to respect the ocean and not go too far out because it's going to do everything it can to kill you in the process.

Engineering? What's that? We don't need no engineering when building a bridge! Like the collapse of the walkways in the Kansas City Hyatt Regency:

It was just a shitshow from the start with revisions being made as it was being built and the walkways barely being able to support their own weight, not to mention the weight of dozens of people walking and standing on them.

Alright. Suppose you could hear the walls of the sub creaking as you descend into the ocean and they can barely hold the weight you apply. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO IN THE ROUGHLY 3 MICROSECONDS BEFORE THE ENTIRE OCEAN FORCEFULLY ENTERS THE SUB? SPEND 2 HOURS GETTING BACK TO THE SURFACE?

NO, I SAY TO YOU. The time to check for this is on THE SURFACE, where you have a roughly ZERO percent chance of being crushed to death under the unbearable weight of the entire ocean, and you make sure it can withstand the pressure, and maybe a few dozen extra meters in case of something.
Don't be bringing sense into this. This is all about the sneed and armchair physicists telling others why it wouldn't have worked.

This whole thing is fascinating to me. I’m a diver and I’ve done the blue hole in Belize. You’re supposed to be 130’ max, I went to 145’ to get pictures of the stalactites. I thought a lot about it since even 130’ is challenging and made sure I was safe for all the pressure involved - no nitrox on that dive, even though it cost me bottom time on the two dives coming back.

And then I think about this shit. 33’/10 meters is an atmosphere of pressure. I was paranoid as hell about ~4 1/2 atmospheres - this fucking guy was going to over 100 atmospheres of pressure and was totally blasé about some Home Depot epoxy used to stop pool leaks? Lol.

E: and this point I think had already been made. The difference between Miami and space is one atmosphere. The difference between Miami and where this thing went is like 100 atmospheres.
