My only hope is that alongside the scripted bullshit the producers show just how devestating it is for the wives of these nuts to realize that all the years spent being married to these guys may as well have been a waste.

I used to follow the blog GenderCritical, and they sidelinked a website that had a lot of stories by women just like the ones in this show. Their husbands turned tranny, and it was either divorce or live with a narcissistic weirdo who you may as well have never met before. Really sad and angry reading those stories.

Like said before in this thread, these women are going to face a ton of backlash from total strangers on the internet if they divorce or outright refuse to acknowledge the new "woman" in their lives. Scripted or not, that's just terrible.

Of course if you had to be blunt about it, the TLC of 30 years ago probably wouldn't be done today given how far different things were then.
