Today I have found a bat in my home at 11:30 at night; rather, the dog did. And now I’m wondering if my annoying spider bite on my toe from two nights ago is actually an annoying bat bite from two nights ago. Guess tomorrow in the thread I can post “today I have gotten my first rabies shot.”
Goddammit fuck this gay earth. This is the flea in my ear all over again.

Today I went to my new job agency and spoke to the intake officer. This is the first step in me returning to work in a meaningful capacity, although it appears I may be restricted to only two days a week to begin with. I'm hoping that can be negotiated upwards later on. I'm really looking forward to having worth again.

Went on my longest bike ride so far, mostly I've been riding to work which is only a mile and a half away. I've done a few rides on days off and practiced hills, which I had a lot of today. Mostly it's riding near cars that scares me, I don't want to be one of the annoying cyclists that people complain about. Local ordinance is that riding on the sidewalk is illegal unless you're in a situation where to do otherwise would be dangerous, and in one area there was nowhere to ride that wasn't totally in the way of vehicles and I didn't feel like becoming pavement pizza today.

Started my universal studios 2022 trip fund here's hoping i dont have to pull an "up"* and dip into it for stuff i need for the next year.


* (carl and his wife had to keep taking money from their trip fund all through their life together to the point where his wife died before they could use it for what they wanted)

Today I ordered a new Desktop PC so I can give my current one to a neighbor kid that wants to play PC Vidya with me and the rest of our little group.

Going from a Ryzen 5 5600x/2060/16gb/500gb to a Ryzen 9 5900x/3080/32gb/1tb+2tb

Should be here sometime next month. I'll be teaching the kid about proper belt balancing and how to enact genocide upon biters in Factorio soon after I get my new toy and his new toy set up. Feels good.
