I have finished reading 200 pages out of a book I've been using to study for my upcoming exam soon and got a lot out of it. I started yesterday.

ive just found out that someone i have been friends with for five years is an abusive asswipe. its an inconvenient truth, especially considering his two roommates who more or less think hes pretty fucking great, but im keeping that pandoras box tightly locked for now.

Today I got approved for a big-kid credit card. It should be in the mail by the end of next week.

I took my first IT certification exam today. I didn't pass, but I was really really close to passing it. I just needed 29 more points. I'm going back and retaking it in two weeks and really going at it again and in a way, I'm pretty proud because I did not think I would get that close the first time. I've studied off and on for it for nearly 2 months.

Today, I practiced cooking scrambled eggs.

Surprisingly easy to do once you get the basic steps.
 
Decided to skip class and sleep in. I've only missed one day previously and it's a bullshit class to me that I'm doing well in, so I don't care.

10-4 on that, I got an almost flawless record in college so far. I skipped one business lecture a few weeks back and my friend gave me a huge lecture about how I'm slacking and wasting my life etc.
 
Today I looked for my misplaced watch (no luck) but DID find a kate spade ring that looks like eyeglasses that I didn't even realize had made it onto the kitchen table (yay!)
Got some big props from the boss about my design work plus some hopeful company news
Dyed my hair blue-black in the hopes of prepping for a pink ombre at the tips. My last bleach/dye in June didn't lighten enough so I'm starting from a fresh canvas.
 
today i have gazed into the depths of the abyss.

it looks like severed nipples floating in jars of formaldehyde.

i think they want to be friends.
