Today I have... Thread.

Woke up at almost 11 and have been wiped out all day after a totally badass concert last night. I'm a little infamous locally because I have an elaborate costume that I wear to all their shows so I get a lot of drunk people taking selfies with me and telling me I'm badass.
I got a hilarious dirty look from this old dude while walking down to the venue. Hey, I don't blame him!

Today I had some guy come up to me and touch the top of my lip saying "You really need to shave that" . Wonder what that was about.

I talked to an old guy who said his father briefly handled the corpses of Bonnie and Clyde as they were being paraded around in the back of a flatbed truck after the infamous shoot-out.

Today I have received great news. After a successful first flight in a chipmunk last week (I took full control of flying for 30 minutes!), I've found out that the pilot wants to take me up tomorrow to teach me how to perform an aileron roll.
He's an incredibly adept and esteemed pilot and I'm so excited to learn my first aerobatic manoeuvre! He demonstrated a perfect loop, some aileron rolls and my favourite - stall turns during my first two hours, even had a nice touch and go after a quick circuit.

Had the honor of viewing so many incredible planes and aircraft too!

I've surpassed my own expectations this year and it's a wonderful feeling to be so excited about what I'm doing.

Also, if you never hear from me again; you know why! ;)

Today I went to a birthday party where the host told stories that alternated between how she threatened to stab a guy in the heart with a large knife and how she helps run a boy scout troop. I left p quickly.
Hopefully those two items were not related.

I made Dad's Puzzler game (the one where you slide blocks around until you've moved a certain block to the opposite position) out of wood using only hand tools.

So I'm in this weed biology class, and we have an assignment to collect 5 weed specimens and properly identify them. This was assigned the first day of class, but today I finally got around to starting it because it's due on Thursday.

So I went outside my apartment building into a very poorly kept flower bed and grabbed the first five weeds I could find. I brought them inside and opened my identification book. I found one of the specimens, and what follows is my internal dialog.

Oh, this looks like one of my weeds.
Poison hemlock?
That doesn't sound good. I wonder if its like poison ivy. Well, I've been carrying it around for a while and haven't broken out yet, so whatever.
"Leaves are triangular, dark green, very lacy, and fern-like"
Yep, that sounds right

"Stems are hollow between nodes, ridged, and hairless with purple spots and blotches"
Check.
"Poison hemlock is often found in undisturbed areas, and is especially prevalent against walls and fences"
Yeah, I guess.
"The roots and stems of poison hemlock contain a potent neurotoxin and are EXTREMELY POISONOUS". One root is sufficient to kill a cow or horse. A VIOLENT DEATH occurs 15 minutes to 3 hours after ingestion. Plant sap contacting skin can cause SEVERE burns 30 to 45 minutes after handling."

Motherfucker.
It's been eight hours and I'm not dead yet. But my hypochondriac ass has been having mild panic attacks since. If I don't post for a while, please dox me, find my obit, and avenge my death by harassing the guy who assigned this project.

I rode the bus home and a homeless guy got the seat across from me. He smelled so horrible that I had to stop breathing through my nose. This is the first time I encountered a homeless guy on a bus. He was chatting with some guy who knew him and mentioned how his injured foot was infected and then he revealed it.
By the way his foot was definitely infected.

Rearranged my fishtank while simmering some lentils for tonight's soup.

I'm thinking of going to substrate and live plants but the current set up yields plenty of uneaten fry as well as healthy+happy Cory catfish, so I'm kinda torn.
