Today I have... Thread.

Today a huge grassfire started near my house causing roadblocks in the afternoon. My mom was sick, so today's plans for mother's day were canceled. Fortunately the steak and beer my sister and I bought wasn't going to waste.

Vomited within 5 minutes of waking up because I was in a lot of pain.
Also plan on calling my mom to wish her a happy Mother's Day. This year is the first Mother's Day where I'm away from home. I didn't get her a gift but I did send a card, which she probably won't get until after Mother's Day because she's out of town, taking my little sister to a volleyball tournament.

Went to go get a dress shirt, slacks, and a tie for my graduation, ended up spending $100 on an outfit I'll probably only wear once and a belt I actually needed.

I got brunch with my parents, got a new haircut, visited my sister at her new job, and then went to see Chelsea Wolfe and had a full-on religious experience.

I shaved in the shower today and did a very good job for not having a mirror.

I applied for 18 jobs today in the big city. I'm so ready to leave the boring small town I've lived in for the past seven years, I'll pretty much take anything that's Android or Java related.

Going to feel really bad when I break the news to my boss that I'm leaving though. I've basically been his apprentice for over a year now, but I'm just not enjoying the work I'm doing now. I want to program, but all he wants me to do is fix leaky web server plumbing. He relies on me for a lot, and I know it wont be easy to replace me for cheap.

I saw Captain America today and was thoroughly satisfied with it. Then again, Marvel rarely disappoints when it comes to their movies.

I may have witnessed a drug deal taking place as I was coming into my neighborhood earlier.

God knows why these dudes were buying/selling drugs in broad daylight at 3:30 in the afternoon, though.

Move out while you still can. Trouble awaits ahead.

Trying to. It's hard to pack and clean when you work two jobs and have virtually no free time, though.

This has always been an awful neighborhood and it's sad cos there are so many families in my subdivision but then shit like that goes on. While the kids are coming home from school, no less.

Sounds like my neighborhood! Except my neighborhood is legitimately nice, and just ringed by apartments.

Some people like that are shameless when it comes to that stuff. I've seen people shoot up in board daylight and in train stations where bunch of people are walking right near them.

I just happen to live in a weird area, because it's a nice-looking little subdivision in a very suburban area, but if you go like 2 miles down the main road, it's, like, Hoodville.

Without powerleveling, I live in a major city, so I know. It just always catches me off-guard because I don't think about that stuff until it's in front of my face.
