Today I have... Thread.

Realized that I somehow missed a week of Assigned Male and Brianna Wu. Can either read ~30 pages each or assume situation is still trans lolcow making excuses.

Just skip to the point in the Assigned Male that matches up with the day of the Orlando shooting. Most of the posts are something akin to "Labelle is horrible and insensitive," so you can skim past a lot of the posts that don't have any actual content.

Sprained my ankle (most likely) falling down the steps and missing the last two steps (I'm a fucking klutz). My foot is swollen, bruised, throbbing, and I can't put weight on it. And it's the middle of the night, so I can't do anything about it until morning.

(Seriously, I had to go downstairs about a half an hour ago to feed my cat, and I had to fucking crawl on all fours. Fuck it, if she gets hungry again, she can wait until morning.)

This was technically yesterday I have but..
Organised for three concurrent complicated projects to happen next week at work:
Install an overhauled engine into a locomotive, with contractors in to check the engine alignment with the generator
Remove and reinstall an engine, gearbox and new trucks onto a passenger rail car at the same time as the previous project, in a different part of the workshop
And we're lifting two derailment-damaged freight locomotives onto special stands which had to be set up exactly level (we got them to within 0.6 of a millimetre which is good enough) so the damage to the underframes can be assessed. Got three sets of contractors coming in to do this, along with our own engineering team flying in from the Eastern states.
And finally quoted up getting four hired-out locomotives brought down from the mines on trucks and put back onto the rails in our workshop, serviced and put back into traffic.

All this on top of my normal job running the service workshop. And I'm not even on amphetamines or anything. Maybe I should be?

Today after an entire week of bailing out, snaking, Drain-O-ing, and god knows what else my tub, and on the verge of giving in and spending the $150 on a plumber, I finally got a hold of a shop vac, and it cleared the fucking complete stoppage in 15 seconds.

I don't know weather to be impressed or frustrated that I went through all that first.

I went out shopping to get my dad gifts for Father's day. After wards I went to hang out with my friends. We had pizza and went to the game store. I got a used play station 1 for 40 bucks a copy of ape escape and a new amiibo, the dedede one.

It was a good day.

I'm so exhausted, y'all. Today I did 650 cycle counts (we're really behind), set up two new product lines, and put up signage for the sale this coming week. And then I had to go to my second job and work for a few hours. My feet are so swollen I can barely walk.

I cleaned my new apartment and started moving my stuff in. My appliances are all older than I am, and the complex smells like cigarette smoke lemon Pledge. :sighduck:

Earlier this week I had to take my constipated dove into the animal emergency clinic. She's been showing signs of recovering and being healthy again since, but this morning she's straining to poop again. At least she's still eating (and pooped a little) after the fact, plus I still have to go to work. I'll bring her back there tomorrow, I'm a little miffed that I have to bring her back into the vet again. It already cost me $250 this week.
