Just spent about 3 hours going through boxes of old documents and stuff, hoping to be able to throw some shit out. and have the rest organized more efficiently. I ended up finding the artwork I did for a Sonichu fan-jam back in 2014 or 2015; I'm not really sure how it got in there, but it's with the others I did now. I also found a tax document, and on the back of it, I had apparently written out a list of what usernames I was considering using to sign up for this site back in January 2014.

I just have to make it through another month, and these bullshit quantitative methods classes will be over and I'll never have to do any remotely complex math again in my life.

I'm thinking about taking on an online adjunct position somewhere, partially for the extra cash, and partially to get a bit of hands-on teaching experience before I have to teach an IRL class in August. There's a lot of competition, especially for non-profit institutions and the handful of decent for-profit ones, so if I do find a position, it will probably be at some shitty school. Still, experience is experience, and money is money.

I also may have an opportunity to become a partial owner in a McDonald's franchise. I don't think I'm going to do it, but I'm at least going to take a look at the numbers. I like the idea of owning a franchise, or being a partial owner of at least a quarter or a third, but I feel like the cash I'd need in this particular instance would be best invested elsewhere. Still, doesn't hurt to check and see.
