The only people who turned around on Nickleback are fucking drones and zogbots. They have no taste, no deeper thoughts, and the music they claim to like is often as empty as the shit they are taught to hate. You can see how the mainstream mags and blogs shat on Nickleback for years so the drones did as well. Then a few well-placed articles about how they are not actually that bad, and boom, the drones are lock step with the tastemakers.

At least real nickleback fans always liked them, even when they were hated, they at least have a credible opinion, however shit it is, its still real.

Todd is the exact same in his tastes, just likes what's expected of him to like by the inteligencia he worships. Just has enough of a mind to word it differently so he can pass it off as his own thoughts.

And the coldplayification of modern rock, yeah, no one has ever brought up the huge success of that band made many others ape them. Not like its never happened before, with shit like the Crue and Poison, Jovi etc spawning a legion of clones who ape the music and lifestyle.

Its like he has the most basic understanding of pop music, with no real ability to think for himself.

Nah, he remains lolcow-adjacent IMO. He's also one of the few YouTubers who correctly uses wary when so many wrongly say weary, so I can't be mad at him for too long. I stay a grudging fan, even if I disagree with him about everything and think all his friends are trash.

I’ll probably be the only one here that liked Todd’s video and it was honestly because it felt like listening to someone gossip about someone they hate. I’m a sucker for catty gossip.
I didn’t know about this guy before but once the video finished I was in awe by how insane the gay youtuber seemed. Some of his claims that Todd debunked made me go, “What the fuck are you talking about?” Due to how insane they sounded.

There's a shitty Youtube music channel from a former TGWTG creator named Rocked, who does compilation lists of music -- and the guy is gay as fuck and a total woketard as well, with a dying channel that struggles to get views. He's one of those faggots who does videos like "Top 10 reasons why Aaron Lewis is the worst! Number 10: he doesn't support Biden! YIKES, that's not wholesome!"

I've noticed that smaller, less popular music channels tend to be a lot more positive and in high spirits because they don't have egos. I get these small channels recommended to me all the time, and they're a lot nicer and more personal, since they have well under 100k subs and have more of a DIY approach to content, like classic 2000s Youtube.

There's Michael Noland: the Bottom Line, which is just a Boomer talking about classic rock (he's like a discount Eddie Trunk), then there's the CD Guy who's a Zoomer who collects physical media and gives his opinions on rock and metal. Both channels are relatively small and both guys are apolitical and amicable, rather than Todd and Fagtano.
