Who is the person in the heart shirt?
Lilly/mothcub

Also Dan Olson is really starting to resemble Jack Scalfani which probably would piss him off so I find it funny.

That IS Dan Olsen in the back isn't it?

He really should stick to the puppet.

Todd and Dany reviewed the Grammys for their podcast, which has remained stagnant/consistent for years.

ETA: Todd did not have terrible takes (even some good ones) and Dany managed to not talk about troon shit the whole episode. A miracle, as his current issue is to be a Jew for Palestine.

Dany's squealing is still unbearable though.

Morgan Wallen on the worst and best songs of 2023? How the hell is that even possible, considering Todd's attitude towards Wallen?
Let's see what got Morgan Wallen on Todd's best list, shall we?
5. Morgan Wallen ft. Eric Church - "Man Made a Bar"[12]

Todd: [beat] No comment. Alright, yes, the n-word guy. Alright?

He's one of the most popular artists alive, and several [clip of Lil Durk ft. Morgan Wallen - "Broadway Girls"] black artists have given him the OK, [screenshot of article "Drake Enlists Morgan Wallen To Co-Star In 'You Broke My Heart' Music Video - WATCH"] including the biggest one alive.

Alright? So shut up, disembodied voice of social media that haunts my psyche.

Echoey Voice: Cancelled!
Anyway, I was conflicted about this. Not just because of the controversy, but also just for reasons of quality. [clip of Morgan Wallen - "Chasin' You"] I had been a big fan of Morgan Wallen following his breakthrough. But... [clip of "Last Night"] Uh, he followed it up with your typical post-blockbuster album: do the same thing but bigger, louder, and dumber. So he got a record full of trap beats, hip hop interpolations, a bunch of semi-apologies for the n-word thing that would maybe be best not addressed at all.

And about 40 repetitive songs about drinking whiskey.

And after having to sit through that stream-trolling gargantuan album, I was pretty sick of him.

And yet, uh, at the end of the year, here we are. I'm surprised as you are.
I guess a guy puts out 80 songs in a year, at least one of them is gonna be good.

[sighs] Look, I'm just trying to be honest with myself, I still am who I am.

If you're gonna keep watching my stuff, you're gonna have to put up with some more songs about being sad in the bar, alright? Cause, you know, that situation's not getting any better.

Uh, it helps that Wallen gets a big assist from Eric Church.

Uh, Church has always been one of the country guys it's ok to like. In fact, he's the last guy in country with consistent good taste. It used to be him and Chris Stapleton, and then Stapleton did that Monday Night Football thing.

Oof.

Yeah, I don't know, I just like this song a lot.

It's one of those corny country songs where they take something classy like the bible...

...and put drinking in it.

I do find something comforting in the idea that my own personal miseries are on a biblical scale. And that the bar is a direct response to God's failures to humanity.

Look, we all got our things to be sad to. You got your Phoebe Bridgers, I have this, alright? [beat] Morgan, if you fucking embarrass me again, I swear to god.

Sorry it took so long to respond.

Todd being so pro-BLM that he's treating Morgan Wallen like he's Randy Marsh in the Jesse Jackson episode. Christ, just make like Elsa and let it go already. Here's hoping that Wallen embarrasses you again just to spite your SJW virtue-signalling ass.

Did he talk about Ben Shapiro's "rap" yet?

Another iconic one hit wonder too. He also promoted Lindsay’s Beatles video at the end by the way.

Also, “Relax” gave us this awesome beer commercial.

And it appeared in Body Double, which is one of my favorite movies

New One Hit Wonderland!
Another song in which I could have sworn he'd already covered it. A good episode, never really cared for the song but didn't mind when it was on. Also learned that I really do tune out music because the gay stuff never occurred to me until Todd spelled it out. Though in my defense I never pay attention to a song's lyrics unless I actually like it.

Wow, I had no idea there were people who considered Frankie Goes to Hollywood a one-hit wonder. Did Two Tribes not chart in the US? Because if not then holy shit, you guys missed out
