Todd is kind of too pathetic to be a true lolcow.

If there is even a debate to be had about his lolcow status, he's not one. Yet.

His midlife crisis might hit like a Mack truck though, so we wait and watch.

He's more lolcow-adjacent if you ask me, but I have a feeling that one incident's gonna set him over the edge sooner or later.

It's a "gotta pay rent" Pop Song Review!
He already did a video on the Drake/Kendrick beef. This is redundant. I'm sick of this topic so this will be the first Todd video that I'll skip. Disappointed.
Went online, and I found some stuff about this song that I found interesting.

I also remember Todd saying that when word got out that a “Not Like Us” music video was being made in Compton, Kendrick had won the feud and to call the video a victory lap would be a massive understatement. Here it is:

Here’s the radio edit by the way.

He does hit on the subject of poptimism and pop as an insult, which is somewhat more interesting from a philosophical POV. Not a terrible video, I just don't care about the subject in the slightest as I too am Not Like Them.

A very minor point, but he also referred to the Drake/Kendrick spat as "one you'll tell your kids about" (3rd person) when he used to make more comments about things he'd tell his kids about someday (1st person). Content creation is a selfish lifestyle by necessity but I do optimistically hope the quips about being a drunk shut-in are more for character than reality. Dude has friends but seems to self-identify as a loner, like his internal sense of self hasn't changed since high school (unlike his progressively more intolerant political positions). Idk, I'd never want to meet him irl because his Twitter is tiresome enough.

ETA: correcting my post from a few days ago, the Wisconsinite pedo Todd caped for is named Nick Nyberg, not Nygard.

There's a very obvious "Not Like Us" joke there but I'm not making it lol
Hearing about those facts is interesting, especially since I'm a sucker for bad radio edits, but I'm still not watching the video. Guess I'll just wait for next month.
Anyone else surprised that Todd didn't make a Chappell Roan video though? She's a very hot (to go!) topic right now, he would get lots of views, and I feel like would be the more obvious, non-redundant person to make a video about.

I don't like Drake but my god Kendrick really is an overhyped little manlet bitch with his high-pitched whiny voice. Constantly sounds like a child having a tantrum, not a grown male rapper. Weak little man.

The whole feud is such a manufactured non-event.
The only thing I can think of right now is that things have fallen off since the 90s where we had Tupac vs Biggie, Bad Boy vs Death Row, Easy E vs Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube vs the rest of NWA. Or the 2000s when we had Eminem vs Ja Rule (or anyone else stupid enough to talk about Eminem’s daughter in a song).

Also, in the tweet I posted earlier, did anyone have Drake coming out on top? Seriously, did anyone? Not only has Drake not really been taken all that seriously for a while now, from what I’ve heard, all Kendrick did was call out Drake for things his haters were criticizing for years, even the pedo stuff.

So it’s a guy that’s been in I don’t know how many memes and a routine Billboard chart topper with disposable junk (and hasn’t really dominated the scene in I don’t know how long, despite the hits) vs the thinking man’s rapper that’s got an army of stans apparently. Was anybody really surprised with how this turned out?

Aww, look who's old enough to need reading glasses. And is Amydog so prone to messes/stench that multiple deodorizing and cleaning products are needed to be constantly on hand? Poor pup. (Link)

And at least those feuds felt real. The killing each other part was a bit retarded but those guys weren't fucking around.

Drake/Kendrick feels like a coordinated sales push rather than organic hate. Kendrick's initial response to a throwaway line was so over the top it was comical.

Todd says "making a music video for a rap beef you won two months ago is haterdom I just have never seen before." It's not haterdom. It's a weird obsession with a Canadian meme. Either Drake has gotten way under Kendrick's skin (in which case I'd argue Kendrick has lost - this is the rap equivalent of getting mad on the Internet) or Kendrick is trying really hard to stay relevant with the wider mainstream pop rap fans but he knows they aren't as interested in his usual "thinking man rap" schtick, so constantly humping Drake's corpse is his best chance.

Kendrick reminds me of Speech from Arrested Development with his hectoring. And it will never not be hilarious how the women dancing around him in the "Not like us" video are crouching down to appear shorter than him.

What meme are you talking about? The sex offender thing? The idea that Drake is a massive poser? The idea that Drake wouldn’t be where he is without connections or being in the right place at the right time?

Again, the only thing separating Kendrick from anyone else calling out Drake is that Kendrick is a successful rapper making his callouts in his music instead of some dickhead on the Internet.

The dog's about ten or eleven at this point, right? Wouldn't surprise me if her bladder and bowel control is going. I had a dog who, near the end, if you didn't leave the backdoor open you were going to have to clean up the carpet as he tried to warn you it was coming.

While I don't care about Todd that much, it will be sad when Amydog goes, it's always sad to lose a beloved pet.
