Not really looking forward to any games listed in OP nor am I expecting anything to wow me out of the left field. I thought about making the new MGS game an exception, but let's be honest they will fuck that one up. MGS3 is already a perfect game and does not need a remaster, especially one for the "modern audiences"
Plus, when we got a Kojima-less Metal Gear, we got Survive. Nuff said.

I thought we were suppose to get the announcement for the Dragons Dogma 2 DLC at TGS?
Haven't played it but I would like to see it have a Dark Arisen like resurgence. Haven't seen any legitimate looking Capcom leaks for the past year. If you're talking about that alleged Dragon Queen expansion I'm pretty sure that was just FUD by discord raiders.

Last major legitimate Capom leak was the Ragnar Locker leak back in 2019/2020(pic related) . Doesn't list any initially planned Dragon's Dogma 2 Expansion. The time frames are way off because it's pre-covid and 5 years old so take it with a grain of salt.
I am prepared to be wrong about content being cut from the base game to be used for an expansion due to my own pessimism

Literally nothing in listed in the OP really has my interest. Hopefully good stuff is announced, but it definitely won't be by Sony

I am doubtful for new announcements but it's been too long since we've had Pragmata news or a new announcement for a game.
Pragmata looked really cool, so it'll be cancelled or DEI ridden when/if it comes back.

Looking forward to seeing more about Dynasty Warriors: Origins. More Dynasty Warriors is always good. Also, maybe a big patch and DLC for Dragons Dogma 2 so it turns into a complete and decent game ?

Very cool to have a new Layton game, shame it's a Switch exclusive. We're living in a new world, a world where exclusives are a thing of the past, so they should also release it on Steam.

LEVEL-5 has released a new trailer for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam as part of today’s LEVEL-5 Vision 2024: To the World’s Children event. It is due out for Switch in 2025.

Developers FORCES, Tatsumaki Games, and Frantiq have announced “dramatic roguelike action” game Steel Knight’s ARMIS: Awakening of Survivor for PC (Steam). It will launch in 2025. It will also be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which will run from September 26 to 29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

And there is an upcoming State of Play stream, which is airing coincidentally with the TGS 2024:

S to spit
No doubt many people would have came to their booth only to absolutely mock them, ala Sorgoy of Applebees when he was running for office in UK.
Ubishit better hope that their paypigs will buy two copies of the game now in the West, as this dumpster fire is DOA in Asia, Japan at the very least.

Some of those announcements seem alright, but the best one is Assassin's Creed Shadows being pulled from the event lol

I still believe MG Survive was Kojimbo's idea for a co-op mode in MGS V but got cut to release the game on time.
I would not be surprised, to be honest.
I don't actually hate Survive, I love it in fact and would love to get a sequel. Problem is that it is Metal Gear in name only, and it is very light on content, just as unfinished as MGS5 was. Plus, it has micro transaction cancer and forces you to be online to even play the game(I think), we know that if there was a proper MGS sequel and not just a reboot/remake this is what it would look like. FOBs in MGS5 and Ground Zeroes being a 40$ demo were bad enough.
I do wish we had more of that round based mode, reminds me a bit of L4D2 but with MGS5's combat. Very interesting, shame it was snuffed in the crib as I can see a lot of fun things you could do with it, hell you could make a whole new game centered around just that.

It is very telling how bad things have gotten if the best news we have is having LESS games shown off due to how fucking awful and cancerous they are.

I just want kh 4 and maybe resident evil 9
Wasn't RE9 rumored to be open world now? I dunno, that doesn't sound very interesting. We're at the point in time again when RE is about to jump the shark, RE9 is either going to be very good or very bad. Problem here is: Where can we go narratively? The original game's cast is old now, Ethan is dead, we got Rose but is she enough to carry the game by herself?
Keep in mind that Capcom clearly prioritized the Remake universe over proper sequels now, so unless we have retcons to make the remakes the canon entries now it will only cause more confusion among new fans.
In proper Capcom fashion, they shit the bed in a completely avoidable matter and they will have to get very lucky to dig their way out of it, before they ruin the games again and start the cycle again.
Either way, it could be possible to get an announcement at least, as the rumored release is in about a year from. It would be a good time to get some hype going, altho the market might be saturated right now with the recent Dead Rising remake.
