I've never seen that one, however I've seen the 2021 live action film that actually manages to pull off that style well.

Its absolute AIDS, it's the most generic 90s animated movie plot (animals have to help kid that is in trouble with greedy adults that want money.) but it has Tom and Jerry thrown in and they talk/sing.
The only good part of the movie is the first 5 minutes where it's just a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
Worth a watch if only for how unbelievably bad it is.

Yeah that sounds pretty bad, maybe I'll give it a watch when I'm feeling like getting angry at something. The movie I'm talking about is kind of cringey because it centers around some pajeet wedding in a hotel, but it's mostly just Tom and Jerry shenanigans animated differently.
