As an appreciator of music, I'll play Devil's advocate here and say that a variant of what he posted there is correct. Which is how you have punk and black metal that sounds kinda cool despite being made by people who know nothing about music theory or even how to play an instrument, Swans' live gimmick being about being LOUD as fuck, bands destroying guitars... There comes a point where the music becomes intrinsically linked to the performer's passion and charisma, the mood it conjures, etc. rather than pure skill.

The reverse of that is all of the snoozefest prog bands who seem to play and behave like robots. Not in the cool Kraftwerk or Yellow Magic Orchestra way, but rather after the fashion of extremely disaffected, jaded, and autistic boomers; music's own Mark Zuckerbergs.

However, that doesn't mean that his retarded quote is correct. Nobody will call you "maestro" if you play like shit. They might think you're cool despite the fact that you play like shit. And we all know that there isn't a single soul on planet Earth who thinks that "Miss" Chomo Tooter is cool in any capacity.

It’s an interesting point. Tom varies in his level of activity. Sometimes he’ll do a whole bunch of crazy shit, other times he’ll resort to posting here himself because no one’s talking about him. In any case, most of his threads pretty quickly reduce to “lol pedo dogfucker.” Even his own activity is getting old - it’s basically just “colonised apple whore coon I’m going to have you killed for hate speech.” Then he’s too senile to engage with any replies.

Given his dementia and general frailty, I suspect he’ll soon be reduced to a single thread, purely because he won’t be able to do anything other than post online. However, I suspect that will coincide with him being sent to a care home or dying of COPD and dog AIDS.

Beethoven did say a variant of what Tom is claiming, but with some context it changes it.

Tom does both kinds of mistakes constantly. I don't think he's ever played a piece that I've heard that I would even describe as close to feeling like it should. He literally never has anything identifiable as a melody, at least not until you listen to it a few times to try and really figure out what he's butchering. It's quite obvious that Tom doesn't actually like music, he just likes the image that being street musician generates in his counterculture obsessed dementia riddled mind.
