As far as I can tell they just seem to be fans of classic animation. For Doug, he has said several times that he sees himself as/wants to be a living cartoon character.
On a slightly related note, the same is definitely true for James and Mike from AVGN/Cinemassacre. Bugs Bunny is the man.
I'd be willing to bet Tamara (the female actor in Doug's skits) has probably never seen a Looney Tunes cartoon in her life, since it is a frequent and recurring video series where it is "Tamara has never seen *insert incredibly well known and great movie that anyone with an interest in movies has likely watched at least once*". I still find it swell that someone who clearly has no interest in movies got a job acting on a movie reviewing website.
As for Tony, I don't know or care. I was barely even aware of who this guy was let alone how much of an insufferable asshole he was until I saw this thread. I think I saw one crossover video he did that I can barely remember many years ago, and I just thought he was a buffoonish looking unfunny man child and left it at that.

At least with the AVGN he's a fan of Bugs/Looney Tunes without being obnoxious about it. Like, he did a Looney Tunes video games episode, but he isn't constantly bringing them up or comparing things to them like Doug and the Channel Autism mongos seem to. Doug especially likes to compare things to Looney Tunes like they're the only comedic medium he's ever been exposed to.
I mean, yeah, Looney Tunes were pretty great, even brilliant at times with the classic episodes, but they aren't the only comedic cartoons in existence. There's plenty of animated comedy series out there to choose from, many that are arguably superior to Looney Tunes. But when they need something to make a comparison with they default to Looney Tunes or sometimes Tom and Jerry, like they're automatons and Warner Bros. cartoons are the only thing that got downloaded into the humor file in their memory banks. Brad Jones/Cinema Snob seems to be the only person on the site who doesn't do this, but then again he's the only person at Channel Autism with any real talent and actually makes quality, entertaining content.

I know one. Lazy Game Reviews has literally never blown up at anything, not on his social media accounts and not in his videos either. He's a very sweet guy. The most emotional I've ever seen him in his videos is in his Dark Spore review and even then it was more heavy disappointment than anything.

Well, Doug is used to fucking disgusting porkbeasts who live off of their parents' wealth. I mean, have you seen Doug's wife? He married her because her family is fairly wealthy, so corn-holing the fat, Jew mongoloid would be familiar territory for Doug.
Ohhhh...you said "crossover". For some reason I was thinking of something else. I saw the "Doug x Tony" and my mind went to slash-fiction. Guess I'm a little tired from working an actual job and taking care of my newborn during the night so my wife can rest.
Tony, like many on the spectrum who spend an unhealthy amount of time inside their social media echo chambers/hug boxes, rarely encounters dissenting opinions and differing views. Because of this, their dreadful social prowess, and their isolation from what most people consider the real world, they become accustomed to the idea that the majority of society are lockstep with them on most subjects. From pop culture, to religious views (or lack thereof), to political ideology, they assume that everyone must share the same views and opinions as they do because all the losers who follow them like their posts on Twitter and tell them they're special little snowflakes. So when they discover that there are many other views and opinions in the world, and that they're often in the MINORITY when it comes to political positions, their minds recoil in shock and struggle to comprehend that someone disagrees with them.
And then you add into the mix that not only was Jewmark a rich, sheltered SpEd kid growing up, but he was also part of the generation of kids where the whole "no one is a loser, everyone gets a trophy for participating, everyone is special, everyone is equal and the same no matter what, no one gets left out" bullshit started to become the norm. You factor in all of this and you've got someone who is completely ill-prepared to rationally deal with dissenting views and criticism like a mature adult. Of course, not many people could take a look at this chuckle fuck and come away thinking "What a mature, level-headed adult who is in no way an unbalanced manchild."
It's probably why his mommy has been supporting him his whole adult life. She recognized that he hadn't the intelligence and social savvy to be able to successfully navigate the real world and earn a living for himself like a normal adult, so she took pity on her little manchild and gave him a hefty trust fund so he could continue to loaf around family fun parks the rest of his life. I hope he's at least thanked her for keeping him out of a lifetime cycle of McJobs, shitty apartments, and homeless shelters.

Honestly, having read that he's actually autistic and that he suggested he might have been in special ed, I wouldn't be surprised if Tony was mildly exceptional. He's nowhere near as disabled as someone like Chris or @Autphag, but he's a little slow-in-the-mind.

He's pretty much stolen everything about himself and his "show"; he ripped off his hair from Weird Al along with trying to become a parody music artist before he started screaming in family fun parks for a "career", he stole the whole angry critic shtick from AVGN/Nostalgia Critic/the hundreds of other angry critics on YouTube, he stole reviewing Disney Parks from Adam the Woo, he ripped off the opening dialog for most of his park reviews from Walt Disney, and he stole his gelatinous physique, slovenly appearance, facial hair, obnoxious voice, thoughtless political views, and utter lack of humor from Rosanne Barr. Tony lacks originality like eggs lack sharp angles.
And the only reason Tony was invited to Channel Autism in the first place is because the people who actually had decent shows and talent, aside from Brad Jones, got sick of the Walkers' bullshit and pulled chocks, leaving CA with a content deficit. So they needed somebody, ANYBODY, to fill those gaps. The Walkers were desperate for new content providers to keep the views coming in and they basically brought in anyone they could find. That's why there was a marked drop in quality a couple of years back, and it hasn't improved since.
