It took me a while to realize that "freeze peach" meant "free speech."

Is that some new thing SJWs just came up with because I haven't heard that term up until now.
The expression's been around since at least GamerGate, possibly before. You see people like Dan Olson using it a lot.

If you want a good idea what SJWs mean when they use the term, the SJWiki's article on it is a good place to start (the creator of that wiki has his own thread here).

Nope, it existed for a while now. I forgot the trigger (heh) for the creation of the phrase but there was some incident where they decided people complaining about infringing on free speech are idiots who don't get what's best for them. I think it was around the time it was becoming clear that multiple gaming sites were working together to censor any non Social Justice views and SJWs liked beating around that free speech only protects you from the government, a bunch of companies and websites blacklisting you from everything is okay.

you can spend your spare time writing a diary if you want

Day 2: Its hot in this attic. It's like being inside a pizza oven. I really miss pizza.

Day 3: The other attic dwellers tell me I stink. I'm wearing body spray, so I don't know what their problem is. Still missing pizza.

Day 6: Can't stop thinking about pizza. The other people hiding in the attic took my phone away so I wouldn't order a Meat Lovers. Now I can't tweet to take my mind off wanting pizza.

Day 7: Tried singing some of my favorite Weird Al songs to take my mind off pizza. Everyone told me Weird Al sucks and isn't funny. I hate it here.

Day 8: Tried to commit suicide by jumping out of the attic vent. All I did is break my legs. They left me there for several hours.

No screencap because I'm on mobile but this is sort of an expansion on the previous tweet:

Oh, now we get to look out and see if any of his friends are missing from the rest of his future videos.

I wonder, is it going to be:

A) The fat one
B)The fat one
C)The fat one who's a girl
D)The fat one

In addition, geez Tony has been more whiny than usual lately. He seems like the kind of guy that would go to someone's birthday party and kill the mood just so he can complain about politics and his own life.

I personally see him being the kind of guy who would awkwardly sit away from everyone, spending most of his time on his phone using the Twitter app to bitch about Trump and how lame the party is because no one is talking to him and they don't have his favorite snacks, give all the good looking girls the rape eyes, half-heartedly ask if anyone wants to jam out to Weird Al, then skulk off early to go get some Jack In the Box before heading home to jerk off to Disney Princess hentai and cry.

I guess "Freeze Peach" is going to be his new saying from now on.

Remember a time when it was the Left that vehemently fought for freedom of speech and held it as a paramount right for everyone, not just a protected few? Pepperage Farm remembers.

Seriously, Tony is this far away from saying "only Liberals should be allowed to have freedom of speech, because we are on the right side of history" or some bullshit. I mean, I don't particularly care for Tony's opinions, especially his political views, but I'd never dream of saying he should be silence or suppressed on social media. If you genuinely feel that you're in the right and that your politics are correct, then you should be secure enough to allow your political opponents to say what they want and hang themselves with their own words if they're so wrong. And Tony believes that Trump supporters are legit drooling morons and inbred hicks, so why would he care if people buy into their politics? If what he believes is true and they're genuine morons and rétards, then wouldn't the people who buy into their rhetoric also be equally stupid and not much of a threat?

Maybe I'm over analyzing this and Tony is just a stupid, Yid mong who can't stop stuffing his bloated face, and who feels threatened by other people having different opinions than he does.

What's missing from Tony's analysis (insofar as anything that dribbles from Tony's mouth can be considered analytical) is, of course, what's always missing from these quasi-fascist ramblings, either by elision or design: who gets to decide what "hate speech" is? Tony is probably stupid enough to think it's always self-evident, and has never stopped to consider who exactly gets to be the censors, who under this version of free speech become incredibly powerful.

The scary thing about this is that Tony is about half a generation or so behind me, along with MovieBlob and all the other useless YouTubers who spew this garbage, and it's entirely clear to me we're seeing a rising generation that has never, not once, been inculcated with respect for free speech as an ideal and an institution, instead having been taught the best ways to defang the First Amendment to stifle the speech they don't like.

Maybe the best example of this attitude is that execrable XKCD free speech comic. I have no doubt Tony considers it brilliant.

You know, it is rmblings by people like Tony that make some people also wonder if Hitler was partly right. Like, does society need a fucking war every couple of years to engage into, just to get rid of people/silence people like him, Moviebob or Dobson, because everyone is too busy actually fighting for something and putting lives and efforts on the line, instead of talking about shit in kids media or amusement park rides that won't let you on, because you are getting too fat.

I think it's going too far to say people like Moviebob or Dobson or Tony (oh my!) should be silenced -- for one thing, I prefer these jackasses to speak as loud and long as they like, because everything they say, every opinion they utter, just goes further in proving what complete shitheads they are -- but I do think there's something to be said for the idea that none of these guys, or people like them, have ever experienced genuine hardship, or even the travails and complications of the real world beyond their goddamn internet connections, and there's little doubt they'd all be immensely improved by experiencing something legitimately challenging.

Agreed. I should say, when I said "silencing" I didn't mean like do something bad physically to them or take their accounts away.
But more in the way as that the majority of people are tellign them straight to the face to jst shut the fuck up. That they don't know jack and shit about what really goes on in a regular person's life and that their ideas of an ideal world is something they can only engage in, because they somehow have it way better in life than others desppite only doing something silly many other people on the net also do.
Tony, who I have seen actually play the jew card out like a little sperg when he loses an argument, should perhaps spend one week in Israel. And not in a hotel or any other comfortable place either there.

EDIT: Also, what is it with the timeline bullshit? Sorry Tony, but you are not going to experience a quantum leap by whinning long enough.

I'll be honest, I never heard of that expression before.

It's purely an SJW thing. People who aren't morons realize that being openly contemptuous of freedom of speech makes you look like a complete asshole.

Maybe I'm over analyzing this and Tony is just a stupid, Yid mong who can't stop stuffing his bloated face, and who feels threatened by other people having different opinions than he does.

^^^ That.

I see what you mean. And more than just being told to shut up, they need to have their ideas challenged -- staying in your little bubble means your ideas become soft and flabby and dogmatic, and in some cases they become extreme. Tony deciding free speech is shit; Bob and his genocidal rants ... all these jagoffs should be forced into at least one rigorous debate with a genuine conservative or libertarian or classical liberal intellectual, in some place where they can't just block or sneer, "Anime avatar!" Oh well, I can dream.

And the "timeline" thing is a reference to Community, where there was this nicely goofy episode involving alternate timelines that ends with "the darkest timeline," where everybody is evil or maimed. When Trump was elected the pop culture hive mind decided we're now living in the darkest timeline. Because these stunted children are incapable of not thinking in terms of television, video games, or Harry Potter.

I wonder what he thinks of the Hays Code and the Comics Code Authority, both of which limited the artistic expression of those working in their respective mediums and were carried out by private entities. Censorship carried out by non-governmental bodies is still censorship, and its legality doesn't make it any less bad.

Also, that last tweet sounds vaguely like a threat.

The Hays Code and the CCA, for all their onerousness, were at least only rules on what could and couldn't be done. A better gotcha question is to ask them what they thought of the Hollywood blacklist. I want to know why it's not cool to destroy the career of some commie like Dalton Trumbo but it is cool to use heckler's vetoes against Ben Shapiro or Ann Coulter or whoever the right wing monster du jour is.
