Textual analysis would take you down regardless.
Yeah probably. The only way to escape that now would be to run the text through an LLM first. Even these will be "fingerprinted" eventually, but like I said. This is good enough for me. I'm mostly hiding from copyright lawyers and power tripping tranny jannies, while shitting up passive datamining a bit. It's good enough.

Speaking of pozzed, don't follow any "advice" that states to stop using USA and German exit nodes when using TOR for any reason. Those two countries host a large majority of exit nodes, ceasing using them will make you and your activity stand out way more. Niggers trying to say you should do it anyway glow harder than radioactive waste. I would grab the post I saw trying to sell it as sound advice but it was on dread which is down again.

Double posting fag blah blah but dreads back up. Here's the post I was referencing:

Anyone use TOR Browser for their main browser? Just realized that pretty much every website accepts TOR (you may have to change nodes a few times) and the only cons I see is that livestreams kinda suck and it takes a bit to load videos/pics.

The dude has absolutely no credentials and is basically just some random internet sperg. Why he is always quoted with such authority, especially by people who usually would have no idea how to check his claims, is absolutely beyond me. Apparently some people think "the more words it has, the truer it has to be!" otherwise I cannot explain this.

Okay, now that that's aside, disprove what was said in the article.

The way that guy typically works is that if a statement is made about the concrete behavior of a piece of software, it's accurate, but the interpretation is nonsense.
Fact: "Mozilla comes with a preset that's not great for privacy"
Interpretation: "... Therefore it's just another tentacle of the worldwide Lizard People brainwashing cult and everyone should be using Pale Moon instead if they don't want to start growing scales and tails"

yea funny about that, he actually admitted Pale Moon sucks now.

Now it's all about holding on to uMatrix as much as you can because it's god's gift to the people (which to be fair it IS a handy tool).

My PC Brave Tor Private Window is suddenly permanently stuck in Disconnected mode.

I suspect after reading online that my overseeing WiFi security app has suddenly declared access to Tor as a suspicious address. But I can't test the theory because I won't have access to Admin for the app for another week.

There is a lot I don't think I understand for points he is making.

He is complaining about auto updates but every browser does this pretty much, and has a little notification that you need to restart to update? This is a core feature of firefox that it will force you to update before going on... this is a good thing for the general user .. not the niche user maybe?

I don't understand his shilling of Pale Moon, as it seems he doesn't like mozilla but Pale Moon is based off Firefox?

The cloudflare thing is kind of funny too. He says that because the ticket was deleted (do we know if by user or by the org?), that it is a conspiracy with CloudFlare to target Tor users. He is simply saying that Tor users shouldn't use any site that is in some way supported by CloudFlare (which 19% of the internet is "powered" by).

He is missing the fundamentals. Tor was not designed really for clear network traffic. If you are using Tor to clear network, you are pretty much gambling against the normal internet surveillance. He also misses the point that the developers tell you not to modify the browser because it's not some secret trying to control you, but that it makes everyone look the same. This is a common anti-fingerprint method.

Using Pale Moon with his discussion would make you easier to fingerprint instead of using a default tor browser install, despite how he feels about ad blockers.

To discuss the main subject, using tor browser as a main browser is not smart. It clears everything and you will be in hell solving endless captchas and be flagged constantly because of flagged exit nodes. Use Tor for intelligent reasons, in my stupid opinion.

I think it's a good attempt at what they are trying to do, but building a browser is incredibly hard. They are also trying to implement a lot of things that don't have standard support so they'll carry the burden of legacy implementations.

I am completely for people making their own thing and branching out but I don't know if Pale Moon has proven enough that they are capable of completely pulling away from Mozilla. This complicates it because they will then have legacy Firefox code and their additional new code that will bring on vulnerabilities and other capability issues.

Interesting project but just not sure I'm convinced.

Is there anything to do on Tor aside from buy drugs these days

Database breaches featuring people you may know or would like to get to know. 0-day hax as well as related news and information.

Meet frens who sure are friendly enough but may not be frens.

Wait, so that makes it good?
Stock firefox (which tor browser is based on) does not auto update. At least not on any distro I've ever used.

Do you know any other way to conceal your IP address and use the internet like you would normally? Using a VPN doesn't count, it only gives you one hop where Tor guarantees 3

This is true. Both Pale Moon and its devs kinda suck.
