"imaginary dangers"
Why would a lesbian bar not be openly inviting towards women - even if they're in male attire? It would be like a gay bar not letting drag queens or transvestites in.

Also, from what I have read, her dad removed the parts talking about her feelings for another girl as well as those talking about masturbation specifically because he felt it was too private (which makes sense). Anne herself also rewrote her diaries later in life in case they were to be published after the war and omitted a lot of the passages that had to do with sexuality.
Of course she couldn't rewrite her diaries after she died in Bergen-Belsen, but she was actually planning to get them published after the war and rewrote parts of it from May 1944 onwards (by "later in life", I meant "after she wrote those entries"). https://www.annefrank.org/en/anne-frank/go-in-depth/two-versions-annes-diary/But Anne herself couldn't rewrite her diaries - she died in a concentration camp. The diaries were published posthumously to give a very human face to the terrors of WWII, especially for Jews.
From 20 May 1944 onwards, Anne rewrote a large part of her diary. She planned to publish this book about her time in the Secret Annex after the war. For a title, she came up with Het Achterhuis or The Secret Annex.
Less explicit about sexuality
15-year-old Anne looked with amazement at the things she had written about sex and sexuality when she was 13 years old. Most of the references and passages on the subject were omitted from the rewritten version. In her diary, Anne wrote about her period several times, and these passages did not make it into Het Achterhuis either.
Anne also left out diary letters from a later period, March 1944. In those diary letters she had written about her conversations with Peter, about sexuality, and what they had shared about the subject.

Considering how the stigma against LGBT people was 1.000.000 times stronger in these years (ie, gay men were locked in concentration camps and also were crapped on after their release, and then there's the utterly heartbreaking CRAP that Alan Turing went through before he killed himself), I don’t blame Otto Frank for taking these parts out. He surely didn’t want to have Anne's diary censored and her legacy as a victim of the Holocaust shit on due to her Thoughts On Girls.Andrea decides to talk about Anne Frank's sexuality. She decides that it's a good idea to make it about transgender people, and doesn't consider that her talking about a dead minor's sexuality is at all weird.

Hey, some chicks may be into a hot stud with a vag. I think the whole 'no dick pls' attitude transcends made-up genders. Why would a lesbian bar not be openly inviting towards women - even if they're in male attire? It would be like a gay bar not letting drag queens or transvestites in.
