Has she ever talked about how embarrassed she is by her weight, or that it makes her want to stay shut in the house? That it gives her anxiety to go outside because she knows people are staring, laughing, etc.?

I'm just wondering if she actually has that shame and refuses to admit it, or if she genuinely has no shame.
No. In fact, IIRC, she had the nerve to judge another morbidly obese woman for being in public once. (This was in the Destiny era, I believe. If someone knows the video please do link it. Amber really needs her own wiki ala CWC to keep up with her lies and bullshit.) But Amber? No, she really thinks she’s hot shit and that guys hit on her all the time and her makeup is totally always on fleek even if she has to cart herself around Walmart on a scooter while wearing her one pair of leggings with the hole in them and sporting her ratty old bra that’s barely hanging onto her back. Shame is for the weak.

I wanted to bring this up with her LA thing, but I do think some of her narcissism seeps through. One symptom of narcissism is thinking people are always watching you, people are jealous of you, etc, whatever. And in her case you can kinda see where it comes from, people do stare at her, watch her in public, she turns heads.

But her comment about how she wouldnt stand out so much vlogging in LA made me think she's more embarrassed about vlogging in public and she thinks that's the thing that's weird and why people are looking at her funny, because they think she's a crazy person talking to themselves! And yeah, I get some of the whole "vlogging in public" anxiety, you are kind of talking to yourself. But that's in your head, people will think youre on the phone or doing something, they would realize youre talking to a camera so youre probably not just talking to yourself. Even if they thought that, people see crazy people all the time, they dont really care, they arent judging you on that, and if they are, theyll probably forget after a while. The real reason theyre watching you is because theyre looking at the baby hippo duckfacing like a dainty princess. Crazy guys are a dime a dozen, people with "invisible" problems are easy to ignore, but you always remember the time you were stuck on the sidewalk behind the fattest person youve ever seen, with a huge shelf ass and you couldnt get around because they literally took up the entire thing.

I think she genuinely buys into the narrative that the media is toxic and promotes a shitty body image and self-perception (kind of true but that's for everybody and it's more about the models being models rather than not being morbidly obese), that the average woman is Becky's size and she's only a little bit bigger like maybe comparing a 200 lb 5'7 woman to a 150-something 5'5 lb woman. That the regular people who arent models or skinny bitches are just like her, have her same problems, weight is just a number because she isnt actually on My 600lb Life yet and if she gets to 600 Lbs and they dont scout her, she must not be that bad.

To me, she seems pretty insecure about it and things that shatter that view, which was why she was so hung up on thinking that @666EVE666 was fake or photoshopped.

Amber knows she's a show freak. She knows people will look at her, so she uses obnoxious/loud behaviour and fugly "fashion" choices (like the cat ears) to take attention away from her body.
It probably doesn't work, as I think most people will think/say "look at the fat woman with cat ears" or "loud, obnoxious fat woman". But Amber can lie to herself and say that those people are staring at her because of how "confident" she acts, or due to her bold choices in "fashion".

For years she was able to get away with close-ups of her face and at least look decent, but those days are gone. It's possible that all the duck face and eye-fucking we've been presented with is Amber desperately trying her old tricks in hopes they still work. I can only imagine how much deleted footage there is of what didn't work.

She also makes sure to surround herself with fat people, in hopes she doesn't stand out so much. The boys are the only exception to that, but I noticed that in the videos Amber tries to stay as far way from them as she can.

I'm not sure how much she buys into it, but she definitely uses that to get people to watch and defend her.

I think realistically She'll live to her 40s or 50s and die of some untreated fatty related ailment. Most likely untreated beetus or heart attack.

Perhaps that's too optimistic of me but the human body is suprisingly resilient, especially when you're still relatively young. Shit's definitely gonna catch up to her tho.

I could see AL getting pneumonia and just never recovering from it. That seems to happen to a lot of super morbidly obese people.

Does she have diagnosed bipolar II? She seems very manic. Or is she always this way?

She fits in Torid ?! I would have thought at this point she would just fit into barbaque covers ...

I don't understand why all the pride merch at target makes her so happy. Of course they bought the pins, how else can they express themselves besides pins, stickers, and sassy journal covers? This whole vlog was a consistent level of pathetic. Becky's anime shirts, big AL being to tired to walk in the mall, getting that level of excited to go to fucking target to buy more pointless shit. I have never seen two people so excited for mediocrity.

Those were probably the only things they had in her size and she was just happy they had something in her size so bought them..someone mentioned Torrid doesn't usually carry the 6xxxx sizes in store.

Plus how many 520lbs women really walk in and buy that size? And after AL tried that stuff on it was a stretched out 6xxxxl..noone else would of bought it. Maybe the store forced her to buy the damaged merchandise?
I don't think AL found these clothes in the store. I think it's more likely she ordered them online and had them shipped to store. Clothing stores that let you ship to store usually let you try on the clothes in-store before walking out, to make returns that much easier if the clothes don't fit.

As a recovering fatty, I have never seen anything above a 4x at Torrid. Even the 4x's are not the easiest thing to find in-store. The expanded sizes are online. And my guess is that it's the main reason they chose to go to Lexington that day - to pick up the clothes AL ordered online. The Cheesecake Factory, TGIFridays, God knows what else, was that extra incentive to have the clothes sent to the store instead of having them sent to their home. Treat yo' self...
