I don't understand all the shank fantasies. But I do know that 48 months is not a good standard to set for this prolific amount of harassment and assault, whatever else. California, do yerselves a favor and throw yer leadership into the ocean.

Oh really? I hear they sometimes stick people who’ve been sentenced for a few years in jail because of overcrowding.

Anyways, if he’s going to prison, then he’s even in for a better time. Prisons have more amenities and are more comfortable than jails from what I hear, and not just in terms of educational opportunities. Tablets, better food, more to do.
 

From what I can tell, they just don't charge this kind of stuff with massive sentences unless someone gets hurt or dies. The fact he did the crime at age 17 and was caught when he was still 17 probably also helps. People here may say that swatting is tantamount to attempted murder, which I don't think is an unfair assessment, but there's a difference between making the comparison and getting confused and thinking that's how they tend to actually charge it. They may charge it like a murder if someone actually dies, but not just for the calls.

Have any of you actually read the documents? In the end this fat fuck was swatting people for fun. A swat could range from trauma, dead pets all the way to dead people. I cannot in good conscious believe any claims that fatrick swatted himself. Why would he do that? He could have just called firetrucks on himself and get the same effect with no possibility of getting killed by badged armed pigs.

At a certain point that stops being an excuse. Teenagers have been sentenced for far more for doing far less. Petty theft, trespassing, getting into fights, these are things I expect teenagers to get in trouble over and get a pass. Attempted murder and destabilizing emergency services is not one of them.

I bet if you said enough mean words to a troon in California and the state wanted to do an end run around the 1st Amendment, you'd get more than 48 months. And I bet that grand jury looking into Kiwi Farms had people wanting Null enjoying prison for more than 48 months.

Do we really have to wait until these people get someone killed to do something about them? This guy thinks putting people at risk of being shot by cops was the height of comedy. It's basically attempted murder as a joke.

I think it makes sense to give swatters sweetheart deals if they rat out all their clients (assuming something like this happened here.) I would think it would be a better motivator to keep people from hiring swatting services than just locking up the swatters. If you think swatters will instantly reveal your identity and throw you under the bus to avoid going to fed prison forever, you might think twice about hiring them.

I also know 17-19 is a tricky age range, but I do think it's probably pretty hard to sentence someone to a billion years fed prison for something they did before you'd graduate high school. That's still "where were your parents? Where were your community leaders to know what you were doing?" age range. Even if it's on the very very brink, it's still enough that I think a lot of people would not want to see such a young man condemned to die in prison.

How the fuck is there not a Mutt's Law reaction sticker? Someone had to have suggested it by now. I understand the sentence is unfortunate and shockingly light, and people are rightfully outraged. I just don't know why people's minds go right to a young man being sodomized by a nigger. That's not even a reasonable punishment, and is also incredibly gay. What he actually deserves is to be put in a windowless cell and only be served white bread, spinach, water, and some vitamin pills every single day, and only get freezing cold showers. He should be doing grueling manual labor and community service and making reparations. That's what he deserves. And maybe getting roughed up by the guards for good measure. I just don't know why some peoples minds just instantly snap to interracial sodomy.
