Never understood why touhou is so popular among degenerates. I like gensokyo and its characters, I also grew up watching creative flash animations such as the IOSYS ones, but many of these absolutely touhou-obsessed faggots seem truly insufferable and it's only getting worse over time. It almost feels like the reason they attach these characters to their internet personas is to just ruin the characters for the rest of us.

The thought of Okina being a stand-in for Trump/ICE is funny yet admittedly an odd one. She's supposed to be the god of the discriminated as her omake states but does this apply to foreigners of a far-away land rather than say, the Burakumin? As far as ZUN is concerned, he only mentioned people from his country. So the idea of Blake falling out of the sky like a Genshin character being rolled is retarded on its very approach.


There's also the thing about Okina being the one responsible for protecting Gensokyo from the Outside World through her own means so outsiders coming in by accident would be a thing that doesn't happen often. Even then, she isn't the one on border duty since it is Yukari who messes with the barrier's stability.

She is also one of the sages who created the Gensokyo of today.
She protects Gensokyo from the outside world, can move anywhere she likes, and at some point without realizing it at first, she gained a mysterious power to control both vitality and mental energy, which she uses for her duty of keeping Gensokyo's balance intact.
Her menial tasks are usually entrusted to her two douji servants that wait upon her (ie. Satono and Mai).

She shows no mercy to those who act rudely to her, and grants blessings to those who treat her with reverence.
Fearsome as an enemy and reliable as an ally, she's the classic example of a god.

When humans from the outer world disappear into Gensokyo, it's all thanks to fluctuations in the boundary caused by Yukari. If it is ever discovered that this phenomenon which humans call "spiriting away" is not the work of gods, but the act of this youkai girl, it might lose quite a lot of its mystique.

Quite frankly, I think most Touhou characters would gladly take them if it means they can get another food supply, should another way into Gensokyo were to pop up in NA and the EU. It'd be perfect, the Japanophiles and LGBT+ slacktivists would be outright clueless walking into the trap. Makes for easy targets for the youkai to feast upon when the reality kicks in so it's a problem that solves itself, really!
