Great, Lost Word is not working on Android because fuck me, I guess. Apparently it's something to do with Google Play Store. The game is showing it's age...

To the honse game I go, then.
The game isnt even entertaining. it only uses the franchise Touhou as a cash grab. the gameplay is repetitive and can be done automatically(whats the point of playing a game when you dont have to play)?. Maybe its not suited for me but the dialogue is so long to bare for a MOBILE GAME!

Fantasy Maiden Wars Complete Box is getting a Steam release, with the full translation.
Although the individual parts have had patches for some time now (full tl for first game, main story for the rest), this is the highest profile fangame without a proper English release yet.

As far as I'm concerned, it's pretty much the holy grail of Touhou fanworks, very little else comes even close to the sheer quality and amount of content it offers.

I'm not a big fan of strategy games, but damn, it's Touhou, so I gotta get it, I guess.
Kinda looks like Disgaea/Fire Emblem but Touhou.

It's more specifically based on the Super Robot Wars series.

I did play the first mission of the Marisa campaign untranslated last summer, and while what I read and saw was pretty good, I simply didn't have the time.

I might check it out again once it hits steam, both to officially support it and because, while I can (mostly) read Japanese, I don't feel like working through something this long in a language I'm not fully fluent in.

they should make the horse game but touhou
i dont know how but they should
Lost Word is stupidly easy and very generous for a gacha - don't bother paying for anything, you can get all the standard cast just playing normally. The main appeal for me is the voices, it's fun to choose - listening to raspy-voiced Yuuma and yandere-esque Parsee is music to my ears. There's some neat art to collect too.

The gameplay is indeed utter crap, devised to confuse you and make you dump money into it. Uma Musume's gameplay is leagues above, there's no competition here. A Touhou gacha game with Uma's graphics, less text and better gameplay would be a dream.

But it could be worse: it could be like the Gundam gacha.

I mean the art was the main thing I was interested in.

It was nice seeing a mobile game like this that didn't reek too much of coomer bait. Then once more I remembered horse game also didn't give me coomer vibes and the choice was obvious.
