I actually really like stage 6's design.

Iwanaga Ariya appears to be based on or even touhou's equivalent of Iwanaga-hime, making her interesting because that character's actually got multiple connections throughout the series. She warned Mokou and the original disposers of the hourai elixir what exactly it is, and Akyuu is known to pray to her for a long life. I wonder if she's been cooking for a long time in the back of zun's head.
In those past depictions, she's been described as plain-looking, and i think it's interesting how Zun's done it here; underneath the skeletal, assymetrical wings and the mask is actually a quite ordinary-looking woman, no fancy hair colours or super notable facial details. If she hid her holy powers, you probably wouldn't even look at her twice. Gives me this funny "dark goddess who really just wants to finish up her job and clock out" sort of vibe, it's super cool. And the mask is a great addition to the long line of funny 2hu hats.
