Worth keeping in mind that many of his social media posts are written through dictation. Caused issues in 2016 when his Butler was doing it for him and having a number of typos.

These tariffs aren't high enough a 100 percent higher tariffs especially on mediocre French wine.
If people don't want it to manufacture in the United States Donald Trump should just seize their assets something something national security
 
The first major meeting between US and Chinese officials since President Trump slapped massive tariffs on China will take place in Switzerland this weekend, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent expects “de-escalation” will be the primary topic of discussion.

“We’ve agreed to talk – then on Saturday and Sunday, we will agree on what we’re going to talk about,” Bessent told Fox News host Laura Ingraham about the upcoming high-stakes meeting.

“My sense is that this will be about de-escalation, not about the big trade deal,” the treasury secretary continued. “We’ve got to de-escalate before we can move forward.”

Bessent will travel to Switzerland on Thursday to meet with Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter and follow up on discussions Washington and Geneva had on the sidelines of last month’s World Bank Group–International Monetary Fund Spring Meetings, the Treasury Department said in a press release.

The Treasury Department noted that while in Switzerland, Bessent would also meet with “the lead representative on economic matters from the People’s Republic of China.”

Considering Japan threatened to dump their US bond treasuries, 90 deals in 90 days is unlikely now. Also, Trump wants a tariff on movies. Aside from it affecting the American film industry the most, all it communicates to the rest of the world is that the US is erratic and isn't worth doing business with. The Dems, if they are of human IQ that is, finally have a solid policy to oppose and make actual gains on and all they have to do is end Trump's emergency economic powers. It would end the mandate he got during election night and force him back into checks and balances.
