This might be an unpopular opinion, but that's usually because they were incels before being troons. Relationships take time to acquire, develop and maintain, and only someone without a lot of commitments has the time to be an active moderator in a large Discord.

Not all jannies are/were incels, some definitely go the extra mile (or are just workaholics, see: EVE Online players), but there's a reason they're overrepresented in those positions.
