Other things that I find help is treating my D like it's really a big C, changing out how it's touched and interacted with as if it were just an oversized cis vagina. More rubbing and caressing and tonguing, more touch on the testes and perineum, and less just gripping it like a joystick. Dr. William Power posted a really informative PSA in /r/asktrans last year informing the community that he, personally, as a practicing doctor with a real degree, had noticed a huge correlation of inguinal hernias with trans patients who admitted to muffing or tucking into the inguinal canal. It's a really informative, respectful, professional post by a man who was clearly concerned about something he was seeing clinically and wanted to prevent in future patients. I used to know a paralyzed woman. She'd become disabled from a really shitty freak accident that could have happened to anyone, and her whole life changed in an instant.
