I generally have a live-and-let-live attitude when it comes to people who want to transition, but my embridge comes from those who think that there's something innately superior about being trans. I'm not talking about someone who feels more at peace with their body after transitioning, I mean the type of people who think that being trans in and of itself is a positive thing that should always be celebrated.

That's clearly overcompensation stemming from inferiority complexes.

It's just like the WE WUZ KANGZ crowd and misandrist mega-feminists. The former has almost nothing in the history of "the black community" to be proud of, so they create elaborate, retarded delusions where they're actually the superior people and all their problems are caused by the White Devil. My quote seems like an exaggeration but the top post of all time on one of those subreddits is tips on how to get hormones delieved without your parents finding out. Really sinister stuff.

Well what I mean is the type of person to be that mentally unsound isn't coming back. Those with parents pressuring it are the worst off. I agree with your optimism though, don't mean to sound like I don't share it.

In terms of sneaking around to get hormones yes that is the worst part. I remember seeing a thread on neogaf that was a doctor or some sort of authority figure sharing tips on how to skirt the system and get it all secretly and alone.

This is shit where therapy should come first let alone just going out and buying hormones without consultation. But "muh kids today" are so individualistic and self important everything they want to do in whatever exact moment in time is gospel infallible. When actually they are dumb peer and socially pressured kids.
