Make sure to change your engine oil every 3000 miles.

That's the standard advice, but I know people who swear by using synthetic oil and changing it every 6,000-10,000 miles. Do you think this is a more effective way to be trans ally?

Typically, every 5k miles or once at the start of a new season (especially winter).

A healthy trans is a happy trans.

I was going to come into the thread and snarkily say "lol no they don't" but you mean transmissions, now those are lives worth saving.

Now that's a trans rights movement I can get behind.

People are way to fucking hard on trannies. It's not their fault. They forget to lube them, and need to go easy on them while they transition. From gears I mean.

Oil changes have no effect on trannies, you have to get your tranny serviced by a tranny specialist.
The tranny must be drained and filters cleaned/replaced every 15 months or 15,500 miles.
A properly maintained tranny can last in excess of 124,000 miles approximately 41% of the time.

I was WORKING it to try and make some Google trends joke about the return of single-speed trannies and trans rights, but not ONE common troon phrase even moves the needle on Google over any amount of time.
