🐱 Trans, non-binary elementary school teacher says 3-year-olds are old enough to learn about gender identity, sexual orientation

A transgender non-binary elementary school teacher said in a viral video that three-year-olds are old enough to learn about gender identity, sexual orientation, and pronouns. According to the teacher's website, Los Angeles-based "social justice educator" Skye Tooley, who uses "they/them" pronouns, has worked to recreate elementary curriculum with "a social justice focus" and create lessons around the progressive topics of "identity, diversity, equity, action, and justice."

"Hi! I'm a queer teacher and I 1000 percent do not support this bill," Tooley said of Florida's anti-grooming legislation designed to protect young school-aged children from activist educators. "And yes, I do know what's in it," the teacher added.
"The bill, in itself, is just another way to stigmatize the LGBTQ+ community," the teacher continued in the TikTok video uploaded mid-March and later posted Saturday to social media by Twitter account Libs of TikTok. "Kids as young as three and four are actually aware of their gender identity, even if they don't have the language for it. Also, very aware of who they like and who they don't like."

"Heterosexuality is pushed on our kids on a daily basis at a very young age through the media, through books, the first Disney movie that you saw," Tooley said.

Disney, whose ranks have opposed Florida's high-profile Parental Rights in Education bill, has its own pedophile problem. Disney employees were among the suspects busted in a child trafficking sting several weeks ago. Multiple other Disney employees have been arrested for child sex crimes in recent years.

"To say that pre-K through third grade are not ready for such topics is actually internalized homophobia and transphobia," the teacher continued, further arguing: "They are very much ready for these topics, and are way more accepting than adults when it comes to discussing these topics. We can talk about gender, gender assumptions, pronouns: All the things. And, it is child-development-appropriate and age-appropriate. This bill was literally created as just another means to 'other' queer people. Basically, saying that us existing is not normal."

I was busy playing video games and watching Power Rangers when I was in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. It's stupid to teach kids that young about it, at least wait until they're in 6th grade, cause that's when it'll actually be goddamn relevant due to puberty to go on about how some people are bi and gay and whatnot.

There is literally no other reason to teach kids that young about this other than to indoctrinate them, it'd be the same if you told them about gun rights and shit at that age. They're there to fuck around and learn basic math and shapes, fuck off. It's not anti-whatever either, you fucking absolute weirdo. Stop proving all the stereotypes right and shut the fuck up.

3 and 4 year old kids also make it very clear that they don't care for dark skinned dolls, so I guess that should just be accepted then, you dumb bitch. Why change what is inherently there?

How about some data backing that up? No, you say? Because the data would actually show that early sexualization of a child is harmful? Because you're pulling all this out of your butt and parroting what you heard on tiktok?

If primary educators are teaching age and developmentally appropriate curriculum to their students, there's no time to add sexual deviancy to their already packed day. Something would have to be deleted for this to be added, furthering watering down the student's core education. Probably part of the goal anyway.
