Could be worse, they could have still not sent either of the figures they charged for yet. Just been watching as everyone else is commenting about how they got theirs same day or slightly later, my 2 have not shipped at all lmao
 
Makes me wonder if Legacy is going to turn out like Universe 1.0 with this weird mishmash of characters in strange colors.

I'm really eager to see Motormaster's base mode because if it's like Skylynx's base I figure I could maybe have CW Menasor looming over it like the SDF-1 did in Macross City instead.

I would love if it’s an upscaled G1 base mode with a little garage for the Roller Car.

It can't be a 1:1 g1 base mode since the cab detaches. I also wouldn't count the Micromasters out either since we're still getting weaponizer repaints and those predate the micromasters.

I wonder if they’re gonna include Roller Car as a Micro? I think Micros are gonna be transitioned into accessories and maybe online exclusives.

At this point I hope the leakers just fucking show everything, tired of this shit now.
 
I got a holy grail figure (two) today, Tokyo Toy Show Dreadwing and Smokescreen, got it for a slight markup from BBTS. It was inexplicably in stock (1) and I grabbed it.

I’m very happy with these two.

In the same haul was, Kingdom Rodimus, Wreck-Gar, SS Thrust, Sixgun, G2 Ramjet, Core Soundwave, Earthrise Arcee and retail Siege Impactor. Rodimus earns that Commander class price, he is chunky, the trailer is a fun mini-playset and he comes with loads of accessories.

Right now Blasters in a position just under WFC armada prime where we KNOW he's planned but unlike the armada prime who had a full body colorless test shot prototype on display a few years back blaster only has a piece of art in the promotional image. Hoping he doesn't end up in "oh what do we price this at hmmmm" hell like armada prime supposedly has been trapped in.

Damnit politics bullshit and corona killed my time perception something fierce, I just realized the things I got in this threads Op were obtained 5 fucking years ago now, shit god damn.

I see that X-Transbots has a decent looking Ultra Magnus coming out. Too bad it's from X-Transbots. It'll probably be difficult to transform due to tolerances and fall apart.

The over engineered transformations and tolerance problems yes, bad QC is a more recent thing (about two years) and most pronounced with their Kup figure. I've seen the figure fall apart in reviews and even live streams as people tried to transform it.

I should also mention that they're not as bad as Badcube when it comes to over engineering and tolerance problems.

That reminds me of the legends-scale Transmetal Megatron that made swivel joints out of die-cast.

It’s weird that we live in a time where Takara and 3Ps are making the same mistakes at the same time, consistently.

Over-engineered crap, autistic toon accuracy, poor materials, painted panels ending up on the bottom of the feet (fuck you Takara) and pointless accessories to jump the price.

I'm fine with toon accuracy as long as it doesn't turn into a over engineered trash. Like I'm more of a fan of the toy design of Transformers than the IP itself now days. If I have to have a torso and shorts for my combiner to look good fine, but make sure the individual bots also look good which Zeta didn't do with the two Combiners they made but their Raiden looks better than Takara's and it's larger.

I actually agree, partsform the gestalt to spare the individual components from design compromises.

Takara’s Raiden is also making a bizarre attempt to sell this immense product to train enthusiasts. The “display diorama” is made out of model train elements and it’s in a dedicated magazine for model train enthusiasts.

It’s very weird, I don’t know squat about model train enthusiasts but I’d imagine they’d be annoyed more than anything. They’d take one look at those clear windows and the visible kibble behind them and tell you to fuck off.

Plus like I said, a huge chunk of painted clear plastic ends up on the first trainbot’s feet, the train has a cockpit for the mini Spike from the recent MP Optimus, there’s that huge chunk of track and you ask yourself what all this gay shit has to do with a super-robot?

Yeah I think they're going with like N or HO scale or something yet it's a MP figure. I wouldn't call it MP since it's not to scale with the other figures. I think it should be it's own line.
