Blaster looks great but they fucked up Eject by making him translucent. :stress:

Eject isn't all translucent, his head and other parts of the body are regular plastic.

The blue plastic is now blue transparent plastic, he may have gold trim. If this means we can get more cassette dudes and call them energon accessories, I'm all for it.

Gotta make sure to have some yellow paint ready.

It’s worth noting that Blaster is in both Kingdom and Legacy, if you miss out on Kingdom Blaster don’t fret. He’s just like Astrotrain, everyone’s gonna get a Blaster.

If you notice, Eject doesn't have his guns despite clearly having ports for them on his arms. I'd be willing to bet this is some sort of weird cut down pre-release before the "real" one happens later on, probably in SS86. Of course so they can make you buy him twice. :lol:

Also, some of the crossover ideas they have are truly crazy. I would fucking die if they did the Macho Man one.

With how there's 2 non-transforming HISS tanks made to be alt modes of transformers I'd really like to see an attempt at making transforming versions of those 2 designs. Just don't make them exclusives to events or specific retailers I've missed out on so much fucking shit solely because of that bullshit scalper fodder practice. Managed to at least get both the HISS tanks with no figures from ebay a year or 2 ago for like 30 and 40 dollars or so, technically NEW as they were still in the bags from the boxed . Got a few noticeable paint errors on my shockwave tank and sorta fucked up the sticker application on the soundwave one but it's OK. The shockwave one I got even came with the mini-soundwave though the seller didn't specify it as being included anywhere, and I found out because 25th style gi joe backpacks are stand-port sized you can literally plug gi joe backpack soundwave into siege soundwave's asshole for "alt mode ass storage". More than likely a coincidence, but a funny one.

EDIT: terrorsaur is back in stock for preorder, may or may not get him, who knows?

I don't know how I feel about the translucent Eject since I like the paint apps. Blaster looks great though.

I don’t care how many figures they need to rerelease, I just want my Leader Class Fallen. That demonic-pharaoh design is his best design, period.

I want that Skids figure. Sure it's not as round as I want it but you can tell it's for a video game. I'll even get a few of them so I can put police lights on top and paint it white and black.

Yeah, the new one that was shown. Not sure about getting MP skids since I have X-Transbots version (thank god it's an older design). Though if they give me a red version I'd be happy.

I think we’ll get the black and red Skids in a two-pack, like what they did with Sunstreaker and his Diaclone repaints.

Well we know he's coming next year, I just hope he turns out better than the original, wasn't a fan of it at all due to the weird gimmicks and articulation limitations. He definitely needs the staff and the face tearing gimmick like that one retool had.

If not I'm sure I can always paint him that way. Just need to find a decent head sculpt. There's at least one 3d printed one that could work.

What are you willing to pay for a HISS Tank? The site I use for vintage figures has like 12 of them. Currently none of the Transformer tie-ins though.

My ideal, Leader-class Fallen would be hyper-engineered (Kingdom Rodimus) and articulated with the staff and swappable faces. If the budget allows for it, unique flame effects.

I don’t even care if he transforms, I just want this character who was one of my favourites growing up to have his *definitive* toy. Because he will be as Hot Rod put it “a whopper” that SS Coronation Starscream only exists because something cleaned out the Leader-class budget.

Plus you know that 3Ps will make upgrade kits for him to get it that much closer to perfection.

Normal ones? Well, probably like 17-30 depending on the type and general condition. I'm not like seeking them out or anything. Right now there's the blue one in Walmarts all over the damn place. I've seen some people charging insane prices up and down for HISS tanks. Guy that normally sells shit for reasonable price had a normal ass og HISS tank for 150 dollars or some shit when I've seen the thing online and at flea markets for dirt cheap but I think it's because he's trying to get it profitable enough while also dissuading scalpers from just buying his whole stock. OG joes that were 15 now 30 or 40 that kinda pricing.
For some reason scalpers have been fucking honing in on gi joe shit (aside from some select figures and HISS variants) it's a god damn nightmare. I've weirdly noticed old exclusives have been dropping in price which is how I managed to end up with the 2 transformers crossover HISS tanks that were normally part of different 80 to 100 something dollar box sets I could never afford. Figures are still scalped though, just the vehicles that were going down in price. Not anymore though it seems, Talked about this earlier in the thread when mentioning the fucking 300 dollar skystriker haslab reissue when the things been reissued countless times at 40 dollars before that the starscream skystriker has now suddenly spiked in price along with literally every other release because scalpers are starting to hoard them in response to the 300 fucking dollar haslab one.

I've occasionally thought of trying to find one of those 50th HISS tanks with the weird turrets from a few years back for cheap to customize. It's just the 25th one but either in neon ass orange or green depending on what box set it was from. They were online/toysrus exclusives rather than event exclusives, so there's a bunch of them floating around out there and showing up on occasion.
Still dissapointed the Desert HISS never came out in any capacity, it was a cool concept. I looked up the thing and the images of it no longer even show up in image search somehow, just unrelated gi joe shit and some custom desert camo paintjobs. It was more or less a retooled 25th HISS tank that had a launchpad for a flight pod instead of a turret on it's back. Shit looked weird but cool.

I tend to see HISS II's 100% for around $100 and HISS 100% for 80
Loose HISS tanks from the 1980's tend to go for around $30-40.
Site I tend to visit I believe even has free American shipping.
