Emgo doesn't, neither does Peaugh, though those two still have real jobs to go to. Neither did mitchsantona but he's gone. There's also Deluxe Baldwin, Benscollectables (though I hate how he has non KO stuff on his KO channel), Kuma Style, Sixo. You don't need to be the center of your channel, I would argue Thew doesn't do that either, he just adds jokes (in the form of puns) to his reviews like Jobby and Vangelus. He's also the first one to film himself with the figure instead of just filming the figure. People like Paul and Bobby have too much ego

The thrilling 30 blitzwing was essentially animated and g1 blitzwing merged into one, sucks it was iddled withQC issues because otherwise it was a fucking great figure. Holy shit that was almost 10 years ago now but it doesn't feel like it. what the fuck? Thanks corona!

Anyways, Jet mode is straight up g1 blitzwing in a way I've only seen on the third party masterpiece shit like Ditka. I still got no clue what the deal is with the triple changers being so tiny wit the whole "generally accurate character model scaling"thing they've been going for with the other characters. Still, I guess it makes a little bit of sense for blitzwing, if only because it puts him at nearly the same size as the seekers Astrotrain being smaller than all the seekers and blitzwing, though? Fucking inexcusable. The hand-guns seem to just be a cool accessory they wanted to include with a figure and then did so to justify leader price because otherwise this seems like one of those cases like sixshot or doubledealer from a few years ago where it's a "g1 figure with modern engineering mixed with animation model cues"

I thought the fucking weird little cockpit on the front of the tank mode was a mistransormation but it seems I forgot g1 blitzwing's animation model had that. The g1 figure goes too but it's a lot less prominent and tank-cock-like. Also it's weirdly inaccurate how the cockpit is red and clear when he has no light piping. Maybe it's like that so the power fists can be neon red?

The plane cockpit sticks out too much in tank mode, that's what bothers me. It ruins the profile.

Maybe the armor bits can hide it a bit?

They've been KO'd for a while. It's good that they're making steps to stop it as major retailers wont stock them if they want the real ones. All companies should do that.

Mine came in, I don't mind it so far. Going through some minor issues. I have noticed that people don't know how embargos work. Different countries get their shit early. Like Singapore for instance where I'll get some stuff from. It's not theft if a country get's it before the United States does. That's like saying if you buy an MP figure before the US get's it on store shelves it's theft.

I should mention it's really nothing to do with the figure itself but how it was shipped. Sometimes flying over figures is terrible. Air pressure plays havoc with plastic sometimes.

It's not even always a case of embargos or "stolen shit" either. A lot of kingdom figures and beast wars reissues were on store shelves in the US for fucking MONTHS before hasbro made a fucking video seminar saying that they were releasing the things as if it were new news. Between shitty distribution, scalper employee networks, ridiculous price hikes, QC issues, and this shit, it's created an incredibly miserable experience in terms of trying to get figures in general. Really wish I managed to find one of the beast megatron's from that batch that had the unreleased grimacing face people thought was going to be used on t wrecks before they just painted on his teeth over the stoic face. In a few years you fucking KNOW those things are gonna show up as ebay scalper's new hot item to hoard alongside the test shots for combiner wars demolishor and thrilling 30 transmetal megatron. If I had the cash and know how of how to obtain those I'd straight up disassemble them and make recastings of those unreleased heads.

Speaking of test shots that just reminded me I never took a pic of the clear plastic thrilling 30 rhinox one I got for like 120 dollars or some shit like that last year. Most expensive transformers purchase I've ever made but at the time scalpers were charging 150 for the standard hasbro release due to the kingdom one being utter ass. I thinkt he price has now dropped since then to $50 but I'm not really willing to pay that much for normal rhinox right now knowing he was selling for like $20 used a few years ago. No idea how many crystaline rhinoxes are out there but I've seen several listings over the years for them every once and a while and for a price thats like import figure level for something that's not a mass produced "collector figure" but instead the thing made to demonstrate it's tolerances and where things go I'm figuring it's worth it though I don't usually have enough cash to blow on shit that pricey. Might've rambled about that before but I forgot lmao.

EDIT: I JUST REALIZED BLITZWING'S DECEPTICON LOGO IS IN A REALLY FUCKING WEIRD SPOT COMPARED TO IT'S USUAL PLACEMENT AND IT'S BUGGING ME NOW. Technically it's in the same spot as the most recent blitzing figures and the g1 figure,but in pretty much everything else g1 blitzwing's logo's always on the middle of his torso instead of his collar. I think it'sbecause there's blatantly flat space made for iton this figure, kinda like how kingdom magnus has the spot for the autobot logo on his shoulder and trailer, but doesn't have it there inexplicably.

The reasons you listed are why I think I’m getting off this train, I have….. maybe four TF preorders and another if Jhiaxus is solid. It’s just too miserable for me to justify the hobby, maybe when the Lennyshit is fully run dry the figures will justify their pricepoint but that’s a pipe dream.

I’m just at the end of my patience with their bullshit.

Nothing get's stocked here anywhere so I just buy everything from other countries. Sure normally the customs charges can be brutal but it's not as bad as paying ebay prices for new stuff. The new city shouldn't be too bad as it's much larger and more stores to go to than here.

Ordered a Masterpiece MP-10 Shattered Glass Optimus Prime which arrived yesterday. It's my first Masterpiece figure and overall I'm really happy with it. My only complaints are that the energon axe can only be mounted on his right hand, the collapsible ion rifle is really floppy, and the Matrix of Chaos can be a pain to get mounted in his chest properly so that both the covers will shut all the way. Also the tips of his index fingers can pop off way too easily. But they are very minor complaints, and I'm otherwise really thrilled about getting him. I've already ordered a couple of upgrade kits for him, one that has a black and grey jetpack and a grey Roller, and the other has a better ion rifle and fully articulated hands (though the blue on the hands might be too bright to look right). The trailer/combat deck/repair bay is really nice and I love that the feet on the side stabilizers automatically extend and retract as you move them into position. SG Prime is my favorite version of the "regular" G1 Prime (i.e.: not Power Master Prime or any other powered up version). I may eventually get the Masterpiece Delta Magnus to stand in as SG Ultra Magnus since SG Ultra Mag has a very similar color scheme as Delta, just won't have the mangled face. KFC also seems to offer their Transistor figure (Blaster) in SG Blaster's deco, so I might try to pick him up at some point to fill out my MP-scale Shattered Glass collection. I'll try to take some photos and post them soon.

I started collecting CHUG last year, but I'm only getting characters that I like. It certainly means that there's more Cons then Bots though...

(I didn't even touch the Beast side of Kingdom and I'm not sue I will.)

I tend to go more for Decepticons over Autobots as well. Their designs are usually more interesting than the Autobots, and everyone knows that villains are way cooler and more fun than heroes. I mean, just look at how badass Scorponok (G1, not Beast Wars) and Trypticon, and are way more interesting than Metroplex and Fort Max. Soundwave mops the floor with Blaster. The Autobots only got one cool Triple Changer (Springer), but the Decepticons got Blitzwing, Octane, and Astrotrain, all three really cool designs, and Octane as a character is really fascinating. He tried to usurp Galvatron's position, got kicked out of the Decepticons to become an independent, and befriended Autobot Sandstorm and went on to have a good working relationship with him. So I have more Decepticons than I do Autobots, but only by like three or four figures.

However, the single character that I have the most figures of is Optimus Prime or variations of him. I've got the Masterpiece Shattered Glass Optimus that just arrived this week, I've got the two "normal" versions of Optimus that were release during the War For Cybertron line (including the premium paint version that was recently released), I've got the Siege Galaxy Upgrade Optimus, the WFC Spoiler Pack Nemesis Prime, the Civil Warrior General Grant third-party figure based on the War Within Optimus, and the Fans Hobby Power Baser third-party figure of PowerMaster Optimus/God Ginrai along with the Apex Armor/God Bomber add-on figure. Optimus has always been in my top six favorite Transformers characters, along with Scorponok, Megatron, Soundwave, Jetfire, and Ultra Magnus. And even with the Autobots that I really like, I always tend to like them more when they're actually villains, like Shattered Glass Optimus and Jetfire. It's just like how Darth Vader and Boba Fett were always way cooler than Luke Skywalker. Then you get anti-heroes like Han Solo, Deadpool, or the Punisher who often times are cooler than both the heroes and villains because they tend to be the "best of both worlds".
