Transformers general thread - Toy Robot men based on giant robots based on previously mentioned toys about said robots

We see how his various warlords ran things but that's about it. Though usually that's with how they ran their troops, not the cities and planets themselves.

Current comics have been pretty good from Starbound however I don't like how easily the cybertronians can be damaged. If they're basically tissue paper how did the war last for so long? Also not a fan of how easily you can mix and match body parts and that you can't seem to just make new ones.

I could definitely see him leaning towards the Totalitarian side of things if he was in charge of Cybertron - though TBH we don't see much of Cybertron under Decepticon rule in a lot of TF media. That's a direction that I'd wish future media would take, but preferably without the current crop of writers.

On a sidenote it seems like even the Earthspark dickriders don't like the second season of the show. Apparently the animation quality and the writing has gotten worse.
If even they don't like it...

Tbh i dont really mind it, the damage looks pretty cool and fits.the art style of the comic. I think my only problem was cliff being so easily blown back by a shotgun blast.

See I wouldn't mind how easily theyr'e damaged as long as humans couldn't damage them, but this comes off as worse than Bayformers at times. The whole human being used as basically fuel for Optimus made sense since we had Powermasters before as well as Headmasters and Targetmasters.

Several users on TFW2005 and the TFWiki discord have said the second season is a downgrade. There is some cope from the other users but overall it sounds like other users aren't too happy. I grabbed some screencaps of the TFW page - I still need to find the TFwiki discord messages in particular:

It's pretty bad that they put more thought into the new card game and TTRPG than they did with this series. I fully expected Hasbro to half ass the Power Ranger/ GI Joe/ Transformers games but they didn't. I do wish they kept their CCG alive though as that was a good game and even saw LGS tournaments here.

I remember a friend telling me to check out Earthspark and I said no as the pronoun shit was fucking gay cringe and the animation looked like garbage
glad to see I was right in avoiding it because it all sounds like shit and is going to shit
Cyberverse Prime Animated and Beast Wars forever

that season 2 became more generic is a good sighn that they are becomming more desperete.
kinda sad, the newer toys looked interesting, if only they never hade those terrans in the first two waves and actual decepticons it could have taken off.

It's not just the Tumblr fans saying it, the oldschool fans hate it too. The overall consensus seems to be "Wow, this is dogshit."

I think it's mostly anti-AI autism. Apparently Cosmos' voice is AI-generated and AI was used for several pieces of animation.

Cosmos is voiced by Weird Al. I haven't heard anything about AI being used in the animation, just that it was animated by the same studio that did the Megamind sequel everyone ruthlessly mocked.

Also Nightshade looks creepy af both in show and toy form

These designs were definitely meant for 2D animation and it shows. The character designer is Nick Roche, and he's a good 2D artist, but these designs really don't work in cheaply-made 3D animation. Their faces look like creepy claymation up close, with Arcee being especially bad.
