Transformers general thread - Toy Robot men based on giant robots based on previously mentioned toys about said robots

Looking pretty good. Sucks they're so limited but will look good with the others I've picked up from conventions.

That has no right being as good looking as it is as a movie launch toy, usually we gotta wait a year or two for the on-screen designs to be done properly.

You know who this design reminds me of? WFC/Aligned Zeta Prime, since these designs aren’t movieverse shit, they can be repainted into say, G1 stuff. Like SS Bumblebee Arcee becoming that IDW chick, old Bayverse stuff they couldn’t do that.

I think they’re using the Covenant of Primus for this movie’s inspiration.

He looks more like Nominus Prime from the IDW comics. Same colour too.

I was hoping for a better Ruckas. Oh well. Good Enough. Just needs some TLC. Namely fill in the gaps, do some repainting and remove those tires again as I don't trust the material.

Possible SS86 Optimus leak, if this is true then Earthrise/Siege is still top dog. That Takara ER repaint coming with Mainframe and Jazz dabs all over this. Maybe it’s mistransformed, maybe not

It’s funny that Ruckus got more love than Lockdown in the retooling department. The retooling on Ruckus and Bludgeon is genuinely surprising.

This iteration of Bludgdon wears the mold better, it not 1:1 but Tarn’s little back cannons bring to mind the flags and this Bludgeon actually had an arm cannon.

It’s even more unfortunate that the pretenders got poor treatment, Bludgeon doesn’t have his acolytes.

They could at least give the Karn mold new blaster cannons every time they re-release it.

I wonder if there's any like that Gundam mobile game where the mobile game company was handed serious business assets like the actual 3d printer files for the model kits, and then they just left them in the bloatcode

Shockwave is using his WAR/ Fall of Cybertron alt mode so I don't think any design in the game is original.
Company behind it also only do kids games and have a few kart games under their belt so don't expect much.

I was gonna bring this up, it's real for sure. it just is a downscaled version of the one they wanted 500 for a few years ago. The cel shaded siege repaint is still better to me in terms of an animation style prime but the takara 3 pack redeco of earthrise prime is a non-cel shaded equal if it doesn't end up getting fucked up color wise last minute like some other optimuses the last few years did.

Hey, money saved, dramatic capture Optimus is actually cheaper, I’m over the Optimus space race (war), we peaked with the WFC Optimus bloodline.

I’m still weirded out that Amazon Bludgeon got more retooling than retail Bludgeon or that Ruckus is as big as he is. Look at that photo, he’s practically TR deluxe size.

Well he is from the Beachcomber mold. That mold came up to Earthrise Optimus's waist.
 
Very nice! I'd rather get something like this than whatever Takara could come up with.
