Yes. I rarely go to conventions to meet people unless it someone I like like artists and writers like Stan Lee and Neil Adams since I liked them more for what they did for the business than just being famous writers/ artists, or someone I want my kids to meet like Simon who tried his best to keep Transformers comics around. Though he also worked on Alpha Flight and tried to make them a thing. I may have been the only one to have talked to him about that lol.

I just go to them to cut down on customs costs and shipping. That and pick up stuff I'm missing, or lost and want to get back. Like my old kids books and audio plays.

I was not a fan of the convention figures quality. Can't say I was upset when they died for a bit.

I didn’t like the monopoly Pete and his gaggle of retards had on obscure characters for awhile, that shit was awful, the only exclusive I ever shelled out for was Oilmaster, no regrets, love that thing.

Picking through the vendor stuff would be the draw.

I’d like to meet Simon, man is a trooper and his version of the mythos is my preferred version (the star gods, cosmic design and grit is up my alley) if I get him to sign anything it’s gonna that Comic Edition Grimlock.

Loose stuff is great to haggle down. I tend to use them for customs.

I tried to get my friend to watch transformers with me
We watched first episode of gen1
He said he respects people watching transformers even though it's not for him
Also stated that he would like to buy some figurines mainly armada if they were available and his favourite transformers were shockwave and megatron

Kinda sucks when irl you don't have people that have same interest as you especially when it's thing you really like. How are the cons going? I've seen diamonbolt's vid and ngl it looks like full of some average dad bods or nerds, nothing too much. Not like i'd matter for me. I would just go there if i was in england and get myself figurines or art

City flooded so there was no where to go. Picked up some stuff for my son as well and some custom fodder while they were cheap

Your home flood or just the place you’re at? Dealt with a flooded lower level once, nightmare shit, almost had another this year, thankfully caught it before it became a problem.

I’ve been going through my fodder bin. Chopping em up, adding wires and damage, got a big one planned.

Front has about six inches, backyard has over a foot. We had it pretty good compared to the rest of the city. Long as my koi aren't in the swimming pool it's all good.

At least it’s staying on the outside. The fear I had go through me when I was getting suited up for work, getting clothes from the dryer and hearing water fall into more water………. pretty sure that shaved a few years off.
