Who the fuck even watched Earthspark though outside of a few troon reviewers and their simps on Jewtube?
If Tumblr is any indication, Starscream fangirls, since Earthspark Starscream became a sad woobie with Megatron PTSD or whatever 🙄 Also, he adopted a red flying minicon or whatever? (or is that Tumblr fanon? Didn't watch it, don't give af enough to Google)

But for the most part, Earthspark doesn't seem to have a fandom. Also, its figures are literal shit (I bought some for my nephew because I couldn't for the life of me, find any TFONE figures last year).

Forgot to update on this, but a while back found ss86 galvatron for a decent price online, and now with this when it arrives I'll have every version of kingdom galvatron released save for the battle damage-less legacy reissue. Mildly insane to have so many of the same character but much like the siege megatron retools and repaints I just really dig the aesthetics of these specific figures. I STILL HATE the fact that even the ss86 one doesn't use the paint budget from removing battle damage to add paint to the side of the feet and the red to the top of the pauldrons, but that's just how it's gotta be I guess. Whenever I manage to get a proper display going somewhere I'll probably cycle them out every once and a while.

Looking forward to the metallic and grey instead of flat and gunmetal edition of "megatron but purple".

In terms of Kingdom galvatron, beyond the missing paint apps on every version, I kind of wonder if the initial release caused the current situation with every version after (save straxus and the clear purple one I guess) just not selling. Everyone got the kingdom one, it was hoarded by scalpers for a bit (especially the versions from the batches with properly assembled shoulders), and then they came out with batches with correctly assembled shoulders and repaints but everyone already had their fucked up shoulder copies and didn't want to drop another 50 on it (80-100 if it was a reseller) So they just never sold and the prices fell as a result. It's either that or they over-produce each batch like they did for TR overlord, Still kicking myself over not taking advantage of when those got down to 25 dollars because it's all just scalpers hoarding them.

I remember i found a legacy galvatron in a walmart last year that i assume was just never able to get moved, also had toxitron grimlock and i regret not getting that instead tbh, dont hate the galvitron figure just like g2 grimlock more.

I wanted the g2 grimlock but I wanted him on discount like the other g2 figures went on. Instead he just sold out and I never saw him again. Haven't checked his online price but I'm fine with my only version of ss86 grimlock being the shattered glass one for now. The oddly large headed megatron godzilla one that's clearly got a transmetal megatron head painted like g1 megatron is one I also kind of want but it's too expensive for me right now.

Also missed a shot earlier today to get a used siege JETFIRE without all the extra crap for really cheap, someone snagged it before I had free time to check out lmao. it's fine, even if I wanted the figure I could always use space.

EDIT: why the fuck did I type out blitzwing? JETFIRE. Might've been due to me being pissed about scalpers honing in ont he triple takeover pack suddenly since it apparently sold out everywhere overnight since I last looked at it. Shit's too pricey for me but that blitzwing having the paint apps actually included for the earmuff things instead of leaving them the same color as the rest of the head and the purple being better is really nice.

I want the Earthspark Soundwave, but every time I check at Walmart they have exactly 0 Earthspark anything.

I got the Earthspark figures in the clearance section of Target last fall, so it's possible the line has been discontinued/clearenced off shelves by now.

smash cut to star wars the last jedi figures somehow still being on shelves not clearanced off in some places EIGHT YEARS ON

As much as I hate scalpers, I think it's a good thing discounted Transformers figures quickly disappear from store shelves (even if just to be resold on Ebay or Amazon at a higher price), since at least it means the Transformers property isn't dead/ruined like Star Wars & even some degree Marvel (where a zillion Black Panther/Shang Chi/Eternals /Captain Marvel merch forever occupies discount store shelves).

Earthspark did remind me of one fact: anyone who says they watch Transformers cartoons for the human characters is most likely a fed
The movies on the other hand, at least the first three Bay ones, I fucking love the humans.

“She’s a criminal, criminals are hot!”
-an accurate portrayal of a fed

I hate the humans in the last two, just like how I hate the Transformers (Sans Drift) in the last two, its all too cynical and lonely in the last two without any of the old Transformers or Humans around.

The humans in the last two solely existed to try and attempt making a new replacement protag because people kept making fun of shia lebouf and it fucking shows.
