I can literally only find one non-stock photo image on any image search of the ss86 version of the DNA kit and it's in very oddly harsh yet ambient ass lighting. Oddly the opposite problem to the stock photography for the upgrade kit.

Kinda tempted to either get this or the other standalone third party head kit below for this guy sometime whenever I get decent enough spending money again.

Wouldn't use the leg extenders if I got the DNA one though. Color match doesn't seem as good as the purple bits and I'm fine with galvatron being more beefy looking.

TFOne is actually pretty chuddy if you consider Sentinel selling out the Cybertronians to the Quintessons as an allegory for the Elite selling out the rest of humanity to Satanist Aliens. It is pretty ironic as well that Sentinel in TFOne basically takes on the role of the human villain from Dark of the Moon, just instead of selling out the human race to the Decepticons, Sentinel is selling out his fellow Cybertronians to the Quintessons.

The whole concept of the Matrix in TFOne is also super Christian Kingship coded ngl. There's strong Mandate of Heaven influence in there, too. The ultimate symbol of power, the sign of a true king, is granted to a person by God and God alone. The greedy, the jealous, the evil, they can't possess it, no matter how hard they try. God withholding it brings blight and famine upon the land. Its reemergence returns life and vitality to the lands and people. God only grants the power to a person who has proved themselves to be truly and exceptionally humble, brave, just, and good, proving that they are indeed the true king and that their rule will live up to His ideals in the fullest.

I did kind of like Hound as well, I just really fucking hated how cynical, lonely, and depressing the last two were, AOE in particular, just one long ass depressing slog without any of the OGs around.

The last two movies were kinda trainwrecks but at least the music still slapped. Steve Jablonsky stays winning.

Because youtube is gay it's not displaying the song here but it's We Have To Go, which is the climax music of The Last Knight. One of my favorites from Jablonsky's TF works.

I got the Earthspark figures in the clearance section of Target last fall, so it's possible the line has been discontinued/clearenced off shelves by now.

I think so, my local walmart moved around their toy isle, I decided to go down their when getting something for my cousin's stepson, they only had AOTP and SS stock, i dont think I saw earthspark stock shrink even a little bit before then so it checks out.

i hope the cyberworld toys will hit harder then the earthspark ones, they don't look the part for collectors but they need to draw in more kids.
the animation of the trailer of cyberworld looks good, but i'm afraid it being a youtube show will hurt it.
if not, i hope the show really is just a gap filler and hasbro is cooking something.

I hate the humans in the last two, just like how I hate the Transformers (Sans Drift) in the last two, its all too cynical and lonely in the last two without any of the old Transformers or Humans around.

True and real. Say what you want about TF2 but the scene in the final battle where Sam's dad is begging him to leave with him and his mother was surprisingly emotional.

Doesn't stop them from using him and frank welker in every ad campaign thing and live action movie ever. It's just the fucking actual animated series things they don't get to voice. It's a very surreal situation compared to before they started doing this thing. Back in the day if you had different guys voicing characters it was guys who had a kinda similar-enough voice or something that just fit the character. it's how we ended up with megatron just sounding like a more no-nonsense version of beast wars megatron for a while.

I think what makes it weird is the replacement voices are bad impersonations or just no-effort voices half the time, and every animated series they do is either a prequel or a "aftermath' kinda thing to g1 when in the past stuff like unicron trilogy and prime was just full on reboot of g1 with original takes on shit, and there were g1 prequel/aftermath things that were also still very much their own thing like beast wars or animated.

Probably an unpopular take, but I think the best non-Peter Optimus voices are when the VA just does something entirely different and doesn't try to be Peter. David Kaye is my favorite non-Peter Optimus and it's because while he kept some of the vibes, he allowed his Optimus to be his own person with his own voice rather than an impression. Brian Tyree Henry killed it as Megs in TFOne for similar reasons, and we wouldn't have gotten gems like Jeff Combs as Ratchet and Jeff Bennett as Prowl if we didn't allow the VAs to spread their wings a bit and do something different.

Nigga I don't like AI voices either and I didn't even mention nor thought of it. VAs can do remote/from home work now. I'm trying to say that they need to give us those guys performing as one last hurrah before that Netflix TF Jew Optimus wannabe comes back around.

i heard "doing his voice as ai" so much now that i want to get those guys with a rusty hammer.
i said before that if they ever did a prime solo movie the best thing they could do is a logan style send off for peter cullen, but he may already be to old for an action movie.

Getting it physical is pretty easy. it's the digital keys that are hoarded by scalpers IIRC.
I still need to get around to actually playing my copy I got from a gamestop a few years back for 25. it was kinda scratched to shit so I'm a bit worried it might not work

Double poosting as a rare exception because they dropped the first episode of that new youtube animated series.

Optimus voice seems fine but it feels like they're missing some parts from the script. he also seems kinda spiderman-y with how he's written which is somehow weird but kinda works.

for a ten minute show it's not bad, but optimus is acting weird for being the supreme commander.
that he outsmarts grimlock is not the problem, but making him get stuck on vines is a bit insulting.(specialy when that part is supposed to be his arm).
megatron ingnoring the rules of the game to loose to bumblebee also is a nice idea, but it should have been a more hotheaded decepticon to do it.

basicaly the biggest problem it had is that there is no context like how they got there making the context of the show weird, but it is not as much a nothing burger like the wild king show.

Looking at the first episodes of this and wild king they feel like they were intended to be seasons 1 and 1 of the same series given their similar artstyle and how both start with assuming you know who the characters. Big difference between this and wild king though is they actually animated the mouths.
