From what I've seen of the guy they stretched out every review intentionally for maximum watch time and kept randomly inserting politisperg stuff about the orange man despite the cartoonishly "not american english speaker" accent. I think that this is like just par for the course in terms of predictable patterns.
That's been every hobby the last 6 or 7 years . Still I've noticed lately more and more "trivia about characters/tv shows " type of channels that weren't like that before have begun shifting towards constant lip service towards these types. I do not need to sit through a video going over every iteration of a minor trio of characters showcasing each appearance and how in some iterations they're female to then have a sudden OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE speech about the orange man and how the characters are "all confirmed lgbtq+ rep!!!" and how "cool and wholesome" it is that they are!. These type of channels have also started getting basic facts wrong more and more as they do this and it's like watching someone's should and mind decay in real time when that kinda shit happens. it's like the Internet is being completely lobotomized to cater exclusively to larper "superfans" who's only merit is how much BRAND shit they buy and how many connections they have.
I think they're an upsidedown brit from what I recount. Or im thinking a different transformers youtuber.
At least Harry Potter and Star wars fans weren't this cringe to join a private funeral when their favorite actors died and did a vigil at their respective theme parks. Surprised I didn't see any where a group of people make the transformation sound at Universal Studios where the transformer ride is at.
i dunno all I know is I got a youtube post by em on the front page yesterday for some reason and it was framign their previous intentionally goofy ass pfp as if it were some kinda ugly mistake and the new pfp is just generic attractive human cartoon female person with vague colors of the transformers character.

All three of these figures are great. Earthrise seekers are a bit shittier than the shockwave qc wise but that two pack was a target exclusive that was a nightmare to find for a bit when it came out a few years ago. I DID get it though and they still work and scale well despite the gimped articulation and weirdly brittle feeling plastic/easily chippable paint. Also some batches of that 2 pack have the weird sudden rapid discoloration issue figures started getting the last few years. If your nephew isn't a "smash things together" kind of kid they'll probably survive given my thundercacker has fallen off a shelf once or twice and not broke yet.
Well that explains the weird greying/brownish/green tinge they seem to have (it's sorta visible in Skywarp's wings). Hasbro QC sure was dogshit around that time; my Shattered Glass Starscream somehow turned orange in its box. Maybe I'll give that to him too - he loves the seekers.
I literally cannot find them! Target/Walmart's shelves seem perpetually wiped of Transformers figures. I'm sure there's scalpers, but I suspect the failure of that Paramount+ show, plus the recent movie, has resulted in stores lowering their stock. My sister found a few Autobot Cyberverse in Ross' dress for less, but my nephew is a Deception fan so I don't mind giving him my figures.
On the topic of crazy, my mom let him get into my older brother's Armada/Cybertron figures he left in my folk's attic (he kept poor care of them so they're not worth much). I fear that may have spoiled my nephew, though - modern lines will never be as nice as those.
I didn't really take care of my old beast wars-cybertron era figures from back in the day and they're all generally still in just as good condition as they were when I first got them over 2 or 3 decades ago depending on the line which is kinda crazy honestly. I still need to find the other box my other figures are in but I also need to sort through the one that I managed to find a while back. By "not take care of" I mean just not cleaning them or dusting them off or whatever rather than like brutalizing them if it makes any sense so that might be a factor in why they still look fine. That used sideways I got a months back that's the later, more show accurate purple chest version released mainly in japan has some scuffs on it but is also pretty much as good as it was 20+ years ago as well. Still glad to have gotten that for a decent cheap price given what most people are trying to sell it for.
Was tidal wave amongst the ones he got? Asking because that's another one that did basically what the cyberworld figures tried doing on their cut budget and the collector oriented remake of tidal wave didn't even try to do for whatever reason despite having the size for it to work better.
Only ones I've seen are from the first wave, I was at a walmart recently and the shelves were full of scorponoks they still can't sell marked down to 18 dollars. He'd probably sell better if they actually gave him articulating legs I think because from what I've seen of it even with all the cut corners the people that designed it clearly put thought into it with the wacked out stuff it can do like turning his arms into a bike.

He's not really lame but his upgraded form in energon kinda is if only because he's smaller and him being smaller is supposedly a "more powerful form" that then has like no cool scenes.

IIRC the ones that did the thundercracker with new stuff like the retractable null rays and a gap filler for jet mode are going to be making skywarp and starscream as well. As for when those are going to come out I got no clue. Another KO company seems to be doing them as well but I can't remember if they came out with those yet or not.
