It's generally easier for females to "pass" as males at a glance (at least to the male eye, and apparently fake cocks don't "pass" at all), especially as men become more and more soy. I'm also sure there's lots of photographical trickery at play in most of these cases, not just on purpose but also just the fact that a screen can't communicate the nuances present in face-to-face interaction that we can sense.
There's lots of tells outside of voice, height, and more subtle structural giveaways too. Body language, behavior, strength, etc. Some of this stuff, like strength (or rather, the lack thereof), probably wouldn't be noticed or on display so if the bar is dropped to "pass in a crowd at night", sure.
Spend any significant amount of time with these people and there's zero doubt even the most oblivious observer wouldn't suspect something is off.
What's kinda ironic though is that they'd pass easier if they didn't shove their illnesses down our throats. Without them promoting themselves and their agenda so much more people might just write them off as odd or ugly when encountering them, but now everybody knows what a tranny looks like and they're easy to spot.
