Plus, it staying up on both Youtube and Newgrounds might be a good litmus test for how the winds are blowing in regards to the troon menace.

I've always heard of "necklacing" in association with black activists in apartheid-era South Africa, against those considered "callaborators" or "traitors to the cause"; Black cops, or others who worked for the apartheid government. Maybe the video was trying to reference some other context, but that seemed like weird, confusing imagery to pick, to me aswell.
