Closer magazine, I've definitely heard of. I've seen it pop up in Tesco and stuff.

From what I know of it, they talk about a fair amount of kinda useless celeb/socialite drama, but they wouldn't bother going near an internet pseudo-celebrity (unless they got paid to... like more than usual), because nobody cares about her and her drama other than millennials, really.. I don't think a lot of adults (not including millennials) really use youtube as a source of entertainment, and as a result probably wouldn't be so caught up in the drama.

If anything you mention youtube drama to someone from "generation x" and they'll not have a clue what the fuck you're talking about.... and they are the ones who usually reads this magazine AFAIK. Never seen anyone my age or younger reading a copy unless they were bored at the doctor/dentist/etc.

Closer Magazine has a predominantly female readership, ABC1 (upper/middle/lower-middle class), and 35 years+ (source) . It would seem that Closer magazine is a guilty pleasure as I honestly would've pitched it at being predominantly C2DE 15-25 years. I very much doubt that the majority demographic has any idea who Trisha is, so I would guess it was another 'Sponsored' article (i.e. Trisha gave it for free, or her agent paid for the article.)

When I was bored at my old job, I'd read the copies of Closer magazine that my manager left behind. She was pretty much their exact target market, and I can guarantee she never heard of Trish before CBB.

I mean hardly anyone I know over the age of like 25 watches youtube for entertainment or knows who these youtube celebrities are. I can imagine that anyone over 35 would be the same.
Oh to be them for a day...

There seems to be a lot of these ''gossip trash'' magazines in the UK?

Same here. Most people around the age of 25 can maybe name few youtubers like pewdiepie, shane or someone else.

It must be sponsored. The only people over 35 who know Trisha are probably the hardcore CBB/BB fans. The UK has forgotten Trisha already a month ago so why would they write articles about her?

Trisha sings about how much she hates her life, her chubby face, how the earth shakes when she walks because her thighs are fat. She chants that "your life is better than mine."

She acts like she's going to cut herself with a shaving razor, she complains that she has money and life still sucks, that she can't stop eating, and that her last boyfriend was gay and now she doesn't have one.

She got lipo but she's still fat. it didn't work.

Also everyone hates her because she walked off of celebrity big brother.

So I finally watched this and enjoyed the line about why bother putting makeup on her face if she hates her face. She did this very tolerable video trying out a new foundation (nothing manic about it, kinda self deprecating, not overly annoying, she should be like this all the time) and I was memorized by the horrible texture of her skin. Everyone who's had extensive work done of their face ends up with it. It skeeves me.

I hate my life now too after watching this. That nasally *trying to be Britney* voice combined with her tone deafness is worse than nails on a chalk board.

Does anyone else feel like all her "I'm worthless ASMR" "I hate myself" histrionic shit was just a marketing scheme for her "I Hate My Life" video/song?

I'm trying to figure it out in a "which came first, the chicken or the egg?" way.

Most definitely. She's done that before many times. Is it a coincidence that her kitchen floor/acting insane videos are up just couple days before her next music video? No.

Does anyone know if she really had a full contract with CBB? Or was she only supposed to be on it a little and have a dramatic cut off so she could still get some sort of publicity for her upcoming released song?

How deep does this rabbit hole go as far as 100% fakeness? Is it her manager or her that's deciding to go in this skeevy direction?

I don't think CBB was publicity for this song or any other song she has plans to release.

I was always under the presumption that Trisha acts like a caricature of herself. She exaggerates for extra views and media attention, but she really is a semi-ditzy, hyper-sexual, emotionally unstable person.

Trisha just really embraces the whole "no such thing as bad publicity" bit.

Do you guys think there'll be an age where she just stops? I find it legitimately impossible to imagine. Something tells me she'll eventually ditch the youtube stuff (save for vlogs and whatnot) and try and make it into Hollywood. Similar to how Shane Dawson or Toby Turner scored roles in films like Smiley, I could see her attempting a shift.

That, or try and slut her way up for a YouTube Red special feature. The 'back-up' movie option.

Bonus:

"You're not dramatic for crying on the kitchen floor at every little thing!"

She's been trying to make it in Hollywood for over a decade now, she's too old, fat and used up to do anything aside from taking a role in a b grade horror movie. Her only chances at staying revelant outside of YouTube is if the younger class of future drag preformers site her as an influence so she can lime light at gay clubs occasionally. But that can't even happen because she draws too heavily from Marilyn Monroe, Anna Nicole Smith, and whatever currently catches her interest like dragon bitch from game of thrones. There's nothing about her that's iconic aside from crying on the kitchen floor.

I would see a drag queen who lip synced her chicken nugget on the kitchen floor shit between songs.

This, completely. When she was a lot younger, she spent the time when young being a stripper. Now, that in and of itself isn't a bad thing, to each their own. But consider this; when you get to the point where you think you're "too old for stripping", you're probably too old to gain fame as an up-coming hollywood starlet, and you just look like a has-been that's trying to be relevant again. Kinda like some of the celebrities you see on "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!"

Trisha has no career outside of Youtube. In her prime, she was always cast as the stripper/hooker #3. Her biggest Hollywood break though was being the fat Jessica Simpson on Eminem's ''We made you''.
She can't sing, act, dance nor write. She's ''old'' but better yet she's completely destroyed her face and body with plastic surgery. She has no education, because she chose to be a stripper instead of going to college (her father paid her to go to college for a while, gave her a credit card and a car).

If and when her Youtube trainwreck career finally ends, she'll most likely be back on reality tv in some form or she will beg daddy Paytas for money.

Also known as "I'm an atheist and have to let everyone know i'm an atheist. She's not allowed to sing about religion without me being a wise ass about it because I'M AN AThEIST GODDammIT *foams at the mouth* cHRISTIAN WRONGTHINK RrRREEEEE"

As much as i dislike trisha and i like drama, can Jaclyn just stay in her lane? Honey, we get it, you're not relevant anymore now that people are over your relationship with Richie and your beef with Onion boy.

Her taking the piss is entertaining for like 2 minutes and then it feels like she's doing it to be more preachy than Trisha is being. All Trisha seems to be doing it singing about jesus, i wont bash for that, yo, she can think for herself lmao.
I stopped watching after a couple minutes and just skimmed through the video (so some of what i've said may be wrong). Jaclyn is grating as fuck.

Trisha's song is pretty terrible, i'll give it that lmao
